This will be a challenging day. My co-worker just brought in a huge box of donuts!!! YIKES!!!!

Stayed focused...I can do this...look away...LOOK AWAY!!!!

How's everyone else doing?

RE: The

Angie - I told you already - "BACK AWAY FROM THE DONUTS!!!";)

Donna - Ritz Crackers are one of my most favourite things ever. I could eat the whole box. Therefore, I don't buy them!

I'm managing all right, but no sweets in combination with the descent into PMS could make this a rocky week in my little world. I may need some serious support to avoid just diving into a package of cookies and not coming out until they're all gone.

RE: The

Day 3 and it is good so far. Ate toast and low sugar orange juice. Wasn't feeling very hungry this morning. Still avoiding that big canister of cookies of my kids. I just have to walk in the kitchen with my back towards them.

Will check-in later today.

RE: The

Here's your support, Limealoo: ((SUPPORT))!!

Today, I'm not even remotely wanting sugar, which is weird. Work is keeping me so busy I don't have time to even think about it...though somehow I found time to post this. Hmmm.

RE: The

Hang in there Shelley! You can do it! It's TTOM for me too, and I have not even had my daily dark chocolate for 3 days running. If *I* can do this, then you most defintiely can.

*sirens blaring* Step away from the cookies! Step away from the cookies!

Hey, maybe that's what you need Shelley! An alarm system on the cookies! Just think of the embarassment - you try to quietly reach for the bag of cookies and then the alarms start going off and all your coworkers are peering over their cubicle walls to see what all the noise is about. And there you are, with your hand in the cookie bag, cookie crumbs all over your face... :p

RE: The

Just think....it's not the last cookie in the world. They will still be there in July if I really want one. ;-)

Angie

RE: The

Yeah I am finding this easier as the time goes. I am excited about the peanut brittle resipe though! Is it july yet? Oh and did you all see the banana laof recipe. No sugar and no fat!!! Yippee:)

RE: The

OK, today. We did have our girls night out last night. I didn't eat any chips and salsa. It was two of the girls birthdays, so the waiters did the singing thing and brought out dessert. I didn't have any. Guess what, my one friend turned to me and said I was boring now. Just because I didn't have one taste of dessert that I didn't even want!x( Maybe cause I had Sangria instead of a Margarita. i hope that was a better choice. is that a wine?

Maybe she was PMSing?!}(

RE: The

Well I'm doing alright with the "eating" but I just realized that for the 2nd day in a row I'm drinking a toffee nut latte. I never get these anymore but I've been drawn there both mornings...oh well, it's not THAT bad:7

RE: The

I think she was just envious of your self-control!! Good job not bending from peer pressure! Chips and salsa are pretty tough for me to resist!!!

RE: The

Today I'm feeling weak. Too much stress.... So far I'm toughing it out.

RE: The

So far so good! We went to Logan's Roadhouse last night and those soft buttery rolls were a temptation but I didn't cave! I'm putting spenda in my morning oatmeal and that's a great sweet treat. The sugar free fudgesicles help too!

For me, though, sweets really aren't my temptation. Wheat Thins ~ now that's a tough one! I've been pretending that Wheat Thins are off limits too. Those new Wheat Thin Crisps are wonderful (but I won't have any ~ nope, I won't)

Oh, one real temptation for me yesterday evening was the package of new Smoothie flavored Skittles that my kids were sharing. Normally, I don't care for Skittle at all, but those new Smoothie flavors in the peach package are SSOOOO googd!

RE: The

Sorry ~ I'm crazy today. I was trying to correct my typos and ended up posting it all again!! Time to go home!

Sarah ~ we would be a mess if we lived in the same house. I'm the same way. I love those Wheat Thins. If I keep the box out i could probably eat the whole thing in a day. Have you tried the Wheat Thins Chips Multi Grain. I don't know if it's healthier. They are so good!

RE: The

Well, i havne't had any SUGAR today... but we did have a team lunch at On The Border. And nothing there is healthy. So... i got a spinach quesadilla. No sugar but i feel bad for eating it, even though i only ate half x( Oh well... i do better the rest of the day!!

RE: The

YES!!!! Those are the BEST!!! Love em, love em, love em!! As for them being "better," I don't know. I would love to have me a big handful right now, but since this is my first week using Karen Session's Ms. Fitness plans, I'd better not!

Sarah

RE: The

So far so good today. I am pleasantly surprised that I have been able to refrain from the choc. chips. Since I am home now for a couple of weeks, my eating has actually been very good. Maybe we all just needed that extra push from Shelley to get us going on the right track. Thanks to you Shelley!!!

I could cave at any moment, but the chips don't even sound good. How weird is that!
