Good Morning,

Tonite is GS biceps and KCMs kickboxing and 4ds abs. I am taking Dayquil and Nyquil to help with the cold symptoms but they dry me out real bad but I guess its better than blowing my nose all the time.
 
LOL! Jean that is what happens to me. I take the puppy out for a walk and let her run around while I walk and then take her home with all the intentions of going back out to run/walk and talk myself out of it. The cold weather does not help.

Roxie: I have not been able to take any of the dayquil/nightquill type meds since my 8 year old was born. Not sure why. Hope your cold gets better soon.

Amelia: have fun with your WO. I like that DVD I just wish the KB was a bit longer.

Hi Andrea, what's cooking?

This morning I really had to drag myself out of bed. I did CC#1 using my rebounder and high step,abs circuit med ball, and IMAX2 stretch. I burned 241 cals.

I have a whole weekend with just my 8yr old and I. I need some chick flick suggestions.
 
Hi all

I bought myself a second hand spin bike, just to get some extra cardio in at home. I know I won't push myself as hard as I do in the classes.

Its quite warm here and I've caught the "I can't be bothereds" And that includes the housework - Oh Dear.:confused::eek:

Elaine - We don't get to workout in "works" time. Its all done in our own time. After work, using our "training facilities" which is miles away from our work complex.

Jean - Glad to hear those shingles have subsided. I've been taking our Aussie running with me and because shes sooooo full of bounce and energy, I actually run!!!

Amelia - How the mini challenge going so far?

Roxie - How goes the stress?/ Weight loss.?
 
Elaine chick flick suggestions - My 10yr old has just seen How to lose a guy in 10 days - loves it.

They seem to love the Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie (can't think what its called)

Pink Panther ( Im trying to think of movies that you would enjoy too rather than just child like chick flick)

Monsters VS Aliens (not chick flick)

Anything Miley Cirus
Bedtime Stories
I'll think of some others ( better ones) later I'll be back.

Andrea-mini challenge going well,so far down one 1 lb,4 more to go. I hope i lose sunday morning when i weigh. Sorry youv'e got the i can't be bothereds..i hope you feel better soon.

Jean-How you doing today?

Ive got a step workout plus legs and core from yesterday on tabs. I took a rest day yesterday because my right shoulder/upper back were hurting. Ive done something to them. II may have to just do cardio today...

Elaine, I had all these movies going through my head that would be good for an 8 year old, too. One for you that I liked alot and was jsut released to DVD is The Ugly Truth.

Andrea, wow a spin bike at home. That should be fun. Glad to hear you enjoy running with your aussie. Mine is starting to slow down a bit. She still likes to go but can't go as far as she used to.

Today was disc 22 (second week) Chest Shoulders and tris. It was easier this week. I'm glad to be back feeling like my old self again.

Good Morning,

Tonite for me is GS legs and some abs. After almost getting divorced and telling DH that I couldn't stand him and some heartfelt letters from his daughters he has been smoke free for almost a month so that has taken alot of stress off of me. The cold is now down to where I think allergy pills will work.

Amelia-watch your shoulder and back take it easy.

Elaine-watched a movie on HBO called the women it was really good perfect chick flick don't ever remember it being in theaters.
 
workout done, decided on the older low impact step on a 8' step. I burned 330 in 35mins. No weights today..gonna give the shoulder one more (if not more) days to rest. It feels better today..yesterday i could hardly move it..

Roxie-you watching So you think you can dance? Got a favorite yet? I like molly(the younger,silly blonde) and Legacy..the beat boy. I going to watch the result show from last night now...

Thanks for all the ideas. I am writing them down and off to the library after lunch to see which ones they have. I love taking DVDs from the library. They're free so if it is a movie I don't like nothing lost.

Jean: glad you are back to yourself. Shingles really are no fun. Is this your second time around with STS or your third?

Roxie: So glad to hear things are getting better with you and yours. My DH drove me absolutly crazy when he quit.

Amelia: Great WO! Wow 8" step! Now that's the way to burn some calories.

Andrea: Yeah, I reread my post from yesterday and see why it was misleading. My 8 yr DS would be making all sorts of yucky,icky sounds at a chick flick!:p

This morning I did 1/2 of STS disc 2 back/tris, 1/2 of Disc 3 legs, the outer & inner thigh floor work from B&G and the stretch from B&G. My legs should be pretty sore tomorrow.:eek:

Okay off to shower,lunch and some errands before the school buses arrive.

Just finished GS legs and I am not going to be able to walk tomarrow I had a hard time coming down the stairs. I got a great calorie burn the best I have had all week.

Morning,

Ugh,its early. Im drinking my coffee and its so yummy:) My son didn't go to sleep until 11ish even though he was in his bed at bedtime(8pm):mad:. It was one of those nights with him..he kept asking for food or drinks. Man,he drove me nuts:confused:

I think its ok to do some wieghts today..soooo,today is 4ds LIS + legs & core.

Elaine-Did you find any chick flics at the library? The last time i looked at dvd's at our library it was a very small selection. I need to check it out agian..

Roxie-Nice workout with GS legs, how did you like those low plane lunges;):p i use to skip those,lol. Awesome cal burn...

Good Morning,

I have decided to rearrange today and tomarrows workouts because I am going to do Jillian in the morning and its a circuit workout. Tonite will be SJP step only with 1 riser and GS tris and shoulders followed by SJP abs.

Amelia-I only did 1 set on some of the exercises instead of 4 like she does because the lunges make my knee hurt so I go easy and my calves are already big so I don't do all the calf work.
 
No WO for me this morning. I didn't get to bed until after 1AM because of work. I will be going out to walk the pooch in a few minutes.

Amelia: I didn't make it to the library yesterday. Hopefully today or tomorrow. Our library is brand new and they have bought a lot of new books and movies. Actually our library belongs to a regional group of libraries. So i can go on line at their website and order a movie or book from a different library and have it delivered to my library and they notify me when it is there. Pretty cool!:D

Roxie: great cal burn with GS legs. I don't think I've worn my HRM doing that one. Oh and how are your legs today? Epsom salt warm bath works great for those sore muscles.

Happy Friday everyone. No workout for me today. Had to take DD to the airport for an early flight and then had to meet DH when he dropped off his car for some warranty work. Tonight I have a church meeting so I guess today will be a rest day. Tomorrow I need to get up early and get my workout in. I have a dog grooming appointment for my aussie. She is getting a deshedding service. Never tried it before, but she has so much under coat that she needs something besides just a regular bath like I would give her. They use a tool called the Furminator. I've seen it for sale, but have never known anyone who actually owed one.

Elaine, hope you find some good movies. As for STS, this is my second time through. This time I'm doing the 6 month one where you do each week twice.

Hey girls,finished my workout...well,kinda:eek: I did 4ds LIS then round 1+2 of legs. I was tired not 'into' the leg workout. I did manage to burn 375 so im satisfied with that.

ok..i will bbl after some lunch.
