Conffesion Time
Today ive got some damage control to do from last night! I had two bowls of cereal late last night and i woke up feeling terrible bout it:(. My day yesterday was good for the most part...but DH got home from work around 6pm and he pulled a muscle in his lower back,poor thing, so i went looking for the heating pad & ice pack. Between nursing him and being a referee with my kids(they fought all afternoon:confused: ) i was ready to scream come about 10pm.:mad: So no wonder i dove into 2 bowls of chocolate marshmallow matey's.... I should of wrote im my 'emotinal diary' instead,afterall,thats what its there for:rolleyes:.

So,with that said...im on week 2 of my rotation, doing all UB from powerhour then i will hop on the treadmill for CCV3.

OMG..I almost forgot. After my rotation im seriously thinking about doing P90X:eek::eek::eek::eek: Ive got three weeks to think about it....any thoughts on the program?
 
Amelia: Good job getting right back at it. Yeah we all mess up, but that is just part of it. My eating was poor over the weekend but I am not going to let it depress me. good WO. No thoughts on P90X.

This morning I did Imax2. A nice sweat fest.

Yesterday I took the puppy and my DS(8) to this huge soccer field. No one else was there. We let the puppy chase us all over the place. I ended up with a tired puppy and Ds and I burned some cals.:D
 
Good Afternoon,

Tonite is Slim in 6 Start it Up its only about 25mins so I am hoping I get a good workout. I am suppose to this for 1 week and then move on to the next one for 2 weeks, I'm hoping to see good results with this and if I like it I might get the follow up Slim Series. Alot of people say they get bored with the program so here is hoping for the best.

Amelia- Don't beat yourself up about the cereal. Move on. P90X. hmmmmm. Some people wsear by this program. Why are you picking this program rather than Cathes STS? I think I posted last week, Im moving slightly away from the DVD workouts for weight training. Doing my own thing. Have you thought of trying something like that?

Roxie - I had a look at Slim in six and thought it looked too easy. BUT, that said, BB really push it for weight loss. Its one they recommend. But then they also recommend Hip hop abs for weight loss- and while its fun to do, it aint no weight loss miracle.

Hi Elaine - I reckon you burn up heaps of cals running around playing with the kids

I did Start It Up tonite plus Slim in 6 Pack and TBS. I felt like I got a good workout but the calorie burn wasn't that great I will have to put more effort into it tomarrow nite. Either the Lipitor or diet pill has caused some constipation so I took a laxative last nite (I know TMI), but stomach has been upset all day.

Hey girls,

Today is my Birthday. I am not doing much special. DH and older DS are at summer camp. That just leaves me and younger DS and the puppy.

This morning I did MM. I found the tricep work difficult.

Andrea: I totally understand you. I feel like I am getting no where. I think as I get older it just seems harder to see any kind of result. I know I have to improve on my eating.

Tonite is Si6 Start it Up again but I might add in some basic step or a 20 turbo jam.

Andrea-it does look and feel to easy that is why I don't know how long I will stick with it, but I felt I needed a change from heavy wt lifting and mega cardio.

Elaine-HAPPY BIRTHDAY buy a small cake and the two of you celebrate. I am in the same boat age really plays a major role in this we just don't burn like we use to.

Today is 60min cardio. I may just get on the treadmill for an hour and call it a day:rolleyes: just not in the mood:eek:

Open house for the kids school is this afternoon,there so excited and so am I;). Thursday Ds starts, friday DD starts...finally mommy gets some peace and quiet:D

Roxie-Did you take a before pic before starting slim in 6? I went to youtube and watched a couple of slim in 6 video's(there progress) and even though most of them don't lose a huge amount of weight,they do 'slim' up. Its interesting. Great job with your workout yesterday!

Andrea- WTG on your BC class yesterday. I picked p90x over STS because its cheaper on ebay! A set sold for like 40bucks yesterday. Plus,ive been doing Cathe workouts for years now...just want someone different. maybe Tony horton can shock my body;)

Amelia-I didn't but I know when I will see a difference, but I might have DH take some tonite. Enjoy p90x sometimes it helps to change things up.
 
Roxie-Can't wait to hear what kind of results you get! I had my eye on slim in 6 before choosing p90x...im still deciding on what to do. Turbo jam has caught my eye too. :confused: one thing is for sure..im doing something different, i would love to lose alteast 20lbs before christmas:)

workout done,burned 898 cals in 104mins ...i decided to cut the grass. why not kill two birds with one stone:p:D

Hi Everyone. I'm still in post Road Trip exhaustion. Got home last night and had to work today so not much time to catch up. I did post some photos in my profile. The Road Trip was a blast. Getting to see the friends I have met from previous trips and getting to make new ones is absolutely fabulous. The energy when you are in the room working out with Cathe is indescribable. The food was good. Apparently too good because I came home and had gained weight. How, since I worked out 8 times in 3 days, I don' know. Oh well it was worth. Now to get back to the regular routine.

Well ladies, today was back to reality with workouts. I managed to haul myself out of bed and get in a workout before work. It was disc 13, shoulders, tris and chest. It felt good(at the time) to being doing heavy lifting again. I used last week as my active recovery week between meso 1 and meso 2 so the heavier weights felt good. Now my arms feel like jello and even my fingers feel like I have miniature weights on them as I type.

As for the pictures, I really hate posting pictures of myself, but wanted to share some with you so you can see a little bit of what a road trip is like. Hopefully one day you will get the opportunity to go on one. I wonder how different the Eggland's Best Road Trips will be when they start having them around the country. Andrea if you ever decide to travel to the Us, you could schedule it around a road trip. Although your family would say, "why are we going to America so you can work out?"

Tonites workout is the same a last nites only I will do Six Pack abs. I woke up with a migraine today and work has been hectic.

Roxie- What are we going to do about these blasted headaches? I woke up with a slight one, popped some pills. Waiting for it to subside. I've got Bootcamp planned for this morning, its a field trip today, stair climbing outdoors! I really want to do it.

Amelia - You've decided on P9ox? I tried to answer that FB thing, and I've forgotten how I do the "notes" again. Im a total computer dork!!

Jean - Im off to view those pics. Critique to follow - just kidding!! LOL
