Hi everyone,I need your help!

I received two spa gift certificates for $60 each and a beutiful bath gift basket from a mother of a child I provide childcare for. I was so everwhelm of her thoughfulness and I like to write her a thank you note. I don't know how! I like to mention how special her little girl is to me in the note. Can anyone help!

Thank you

Lourdes--
What kind of help do you need? With the wording -- like a template example of a thank you note? I'm sure you can get a lot of help here.

I don't know how to express myself in writing. Any sample ideas would really be appreciated. Thanks.

Other ideas:

If you do better speaking: speak your feelings/thoughts out loud and then write them down.

It sounds like this gift meant something to you and you were touched. I'm sure the mom and child will appreciate whatever words you use to express how you feel.

It's the feelings that will come through, not the perfect wording. You will do great!!

Lourdes,

I think the words you used right here in the forum are beautiful. Just rephrase them a little so they are directed to the mother. Example:

"Dear XXXX, I am so overwhelmed at the thoughtfulness of your gift. I lack the words to really tell you how grateful I am. Your little girl is very special to me and I enjoy caring for her... "

She is lucky to have someone looking so caring looking after her child! Good luck.

Lourdes,

Mocha is absolutely right. Your own words say it best.
