terminators

I can't tell you the "best" way to perform a Terminator Climber. However, I have found that it is much more difficult to do them on a carpeted surface. Your shoes tend to get caught up and drag on the the carpet fibers. If you can do them on a hard, smooth surface, you can maintain much better form. These are tough, enjoy;-)

I totally agree with the carpet thing- it happens to me. I can not do all of the terminators, but what I do is do them slower to get the form down till my aerobic capability is better.

Terminators are very difficult for tall people. I am 5'10 and have difficulty doing them as quickly as Cathe does. I think it must be the longer levers.

Here was a life safer for me and hopefully its not cheating.

I use the Bosu to assist in the Terminator moves. I have a tricky back and the floor seem to aggravate it.

I turn the Bosu upside down (I stoled this from a Bosu video) and do the Terminator resting on the Bosu instead of the floor.

Day and night. Now I don't even mind doing them. Could actually do a few more.

I put my hands on my high step set at an 8" or 10" height. It makes terminators just easy enough for me to keep up and keeps me from arching my lower back to cheat in the jump back in.

I tried this today and it worked great. I'm sure it's cheating, but at least I didn't feel like I was killing myself.
