She understood reigning, accepted the saddle, bridle, etc. She did pretty much whatever I asked of her on the ground. She didn't mind at all when I sat on her. But she got totally confused when I asked her to go, turn, etc. from the saddle. She'd jump into a very tight spin, and off I'd go. I'm not the best rider in the world and couldn't figure out how to bring her out of that spin before I fell off. So I quit before one of us got hurt.

We used one of her horses and she would let me ride Dinah, the horse, back to the stable when were done. Dinah was happy to be heading home and would start galloping up the road. I was not a galloping kind of gal, being pretty new to riding. My friend told me to turn her in tight circles to get her to stop. So we'd be doing tight circles,practically at a gallop, all the way up the road to home. I think we would both be dizzy by the time we got there.
