Good morning everyone and welcome to a new week and new check-in:)

I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter weekend. I know I did. Except I ate WAY too much evil stuff. But I shall just work my butt off and take care of that.

Today I'm planning to do Low Max and a segment of Core Max.

I really want that number on the scale to shift (downwards, please!). Even though I can see and feel differences in my body from working out and using the new Hardcore dvd's, I'm still vaguely fixated on the number. I know I shouldn't be, but it's hard not to be.

Today is the 12th anniversary of my 29th birthday (okay, okay, I'm 41 today!) and I think I might order myself a new Cathe dvd as a treat.

How is everyone? The start of another week.I am hoping I can get some good workouts in this week.I have a really busy schedule with work but I am hoping to get things done!
I did MM last night and I am not sore yet.I would have liked to worked out in the a.m today but thought that it would make me hungrier later and I would eat everything in sight so I will just wait for tonight.
I think I am going to get DH to hide the scale away and not weigh myself for 2 weeks:) I have a habit of getting on the scale every second day and if its up at all I eat more instead of the opposite.It doesn't motivate me to see the scale up.
I went searching last night to see how many cals I needed and if I consume 1335 a day,I can reach a goal weight of 118 lbs in 8 weeks.8 weeks doesn't seem that far away, but 118 lbs does.Thats what I weighed before I had a baby, but I was only 18.Not sure if I was finished growing or not.

Lori- Great job on the race. I think your time was awesome!!!!

I think I am going to do HSC today. I think this week I will do 3 circuits, and 3 cardio's.

This morning I did GS CT and am getting ready to head out for a run. It is supposed to be 70 degrees today. I'm planning on doing another week of the GS series and MM one day. After Cathe posts the April Rotation I'll have to decide if I want to do that or come up with my own rotation.

Good Morning Gals,
I think we are getting hit with another snow storm!x( I have heard a few people say...60CMS! We have been having such nice weather this week and now this crap.I hope its not true.I love spring and summer(fall for that matter) but I am not a lover of the winter.
I didn't workout yesterday.In fact,I didn't do anything that I wanted to do.I wanted to clean my room and my living room (top to bottom) I got off at 6:30 and didn't eat till 7:30 by that time I was sooooooo lazy! I spent alnight on the computer searching stuff.
I ordered a supplement last night for working out.I think it was called kickstart.Its something you take before you workout so that you have lots of energy.Prehaps I need to take it all day long.I think its just caffine.
Today I am going to do cardio and abs.I may take my pilates videos to work with me tonight and do one of them.The guy I work with tonight I never see.I will have the place to myself.I could fit a few pilates workouts in with all my nigh shifts.
Where is everyone!?

Hi ladies!

Just a quick check -in. Lori, get rid of that scale! It can become an obsession and you end up hating your workouts!

I am LOVING Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle. Such detailed advice about clean eating, and I'm truly not hungry (sometimes I can't believe its time to eat again!). Have a new workout plan too, which involves a 3 day split (lower body tape and 2 upper body tapes per week). Planning to also to 2-3 one hour cardio workouts and 1-2 30 minute cardios for 4-5 cardio sessions per week. Got my weight and body fat % baseline, so I'm ready to go with this. Will let you know how it goes!
 
Hi Ladies.....Lori, I am sorry you are going to get more snow!! YUCK!!! We have had such a long winter, and I really feel your pain!

Good morning all!

Well, last night I came home to a lovely dinner that my SO cooked for me (Thai shrimp and veggies and noodles). I ate WAY too much, then we went for a short walk (it was a bit chilly), then I came home and did Low Max and a segment of Core Max. I've been eating really poorly lately, particularly over the weekend. I've resolved to get back on the wagon today. NO MORE COOKIES!! It's amazing how quickly you can tell that you haven't been eating well.

Lori - I don't envy you the snow. Ours should be mostly gone by the end of the week. Temperatures are up into the double digits now and we're expecting a bit of rain on Thursday. There are things springing up in my garden!

Shelley, HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY!!!! Your dinner sounds delicious!!

Gosh ladies, I sympathize with your cold weather! My mom is from Nova Scotia, so I bet she could feel your pain. :) I know I always say this but it is absolutely beautiful here. In the 80's and breezy. These are the days my dreams are made of. Soon it will be so hot you wanna cry.

FFD, your book and new workout plan sounds great.

I was a real slacker and didn't do HSC on Monday. Sunday I worked all day in the yard. I lifted so much mulch, hopefully I got a little upper body work involved. Monday was busy, and I never fitted it in. I plan on doing HSC today.

Everybody is going to look so buff for the end of the challenge. May 16. My daily diet for the last 5 days has been hard boiled eggs, and lots of candy, on top of big dinners. Somebody STOP me!!! :) :)

Hi Ladies,

Sorry to hear about the snow, Yuck. I went for an afternoon run of 6 miles yesterday. It was 70 degrees here in Colorado. I'm sore today since I haven't ran in quite awhile. I do like to get outside when the weather is nice. No workout this morning so will be hitting the gym at lunch today for some cardio.

Finally...finished my workout! I fought with myself the whole time! I DID NOT want to do anything.I was being a $itch!
I wanted to run (but my knee is sort of bad)but I was gonna run anyway.So I got the MP3 player, only to realize that DH had all of the songs erased (not sure why) and I don't know how to put them back on.I didn't want to do any of my videos either so I finally convinced myself to do HSC (which I have to say,I don't think is very hard)I am having one of those days where I even thought about giving up working out altogether.Can you imagine? I finished HSC and thought I should try and get some extra cardio in b/c I didn't really sweat that much...walked around and finally (once again) forced myself on the treadmill for 40 min.
Now I can actually say that I am happy I did it,Im happy its over and I am still in the same mood.

Enough about me....
SOunds like everyone else is doing o.k.
Lori-Did you grow up in Nove Scotia? My SIL lives there to.

Lori, no I grew up in the USA, born and reared in Florida. My mother moved to Florida and met my dad. She has lived here ever since. I have been to Canada several times when I was younger, none lately.

Nearing the end of my self-induced 4th week of phase one on SBD and every day people in the office are telling me I look like I've lost weight. YEAH!!!!! Not sure what the scale says - we'll find out Saturday...

Think I'll do advanced live 2 tomorrow. I start P90X on Sunday!

Hi Ladies,
No one is cheking in today??? WHY COME?? I just woke up so that is my excuse.It is 2:45 here and I am going to workout soon.DH is suppose to be bringing me a coffee so I will wait a while.I am going to do L&G or GS Legs and cardio.Hopefully I will have enough time.Prehaps I should just do some upper body work and save the legs for tomorrow.
Nothing new here.While I was at work last night I did some internet shopping:eek: I ordered a coat,pair of pants,and 3 sweaters.I am not sure if that was it or not.I ordered some sweaters that are bottom up and you wear the tanktop in under.I use to always where my SIL like it.Hopefully they will be o.k, it was hard to guess what size I needed.They didn't have a sizing chart.
I think work will be pretty easy tonight.You should see the snow we got! There won't be any planes landing in this.Its gross!
When I am at work tonight I am going to lock the doors.Tonight is one of those nights where the guy I work with at my other job can stroll over:-( I am 99.9% sure he is on holidays this week though but I am gonna be safe.

Hi Ladies,

Ended up not working out at all yesterday. After looking back through my workout logs, it seems I've been taking Tuesdays off anyway. This morning was Muscle Max, and tomorrow I am planning either MIC or Imax 3. I am really craving some circuit workouts so maybe I'll do a few days of those (especially the gauntlet). Sometimes I am overwhelmed with all my workout choices and don't know what to do, or how long to continue on the same rotation for the results I am looking for.

Hi Gals,
Would you beleive that it is still snowing here? We have between 50-60cms of that white stuff!Its not suppose to be like thisx( I guess I could always move but its just as well to be living in all this snow as it is to have murders and theives around me.

I did my workout today.I did Imax3 (although I was getting pretty tired near the end) and I did 1/2 of L&G.And now I am eating a scoop of ice cream but if I was dying tomorrow I wouldn't change a thing.Actually this were my last day and it wasn't snowing and McDonalds was still open(its closed b/c of the storm) I think I would be in the McDonalds driveway through ordering something greasy.I am REALLLLLYYYY in the mood to have something bad tonight.Prehaps I should have some popcorn and the feeling might pass.It doesn't matter anyway b/c there is nothing open and I am not going out into this storm to get anything!
