Good morning girls. How is everyone coming along?
Cleo, how are your arms today?
I did PLB last night and had jello legs big time! Did some Rhythmic Step after and felt great!:D
Did Imax2 this morning w/ some modifications I admit. We're being honest in this right?? And CoreMax1.
Last night I was starved after working out so I had some watermelon before bed. But I did not have any sweets yesterday at all!!WooHoo!:7

Hi girls

Kali - congrats on your weight loss. I cannot believe you were able to make it through RS after doing PLB. I'm impressed.

Cleo - have fun running today. I hope it's not too hot where you are. Here in Chicago it is hot and humid. yuck!

So my roommate finished off those oreos so I don't have to worry about those anymore and I've been working a lot so my eating hasn't been too bad since I pack my lunch (in the morning I think healthy while packing my lunch; however, while working I want unhealthy food!)

Yesterday was KPC. I tried it with hand weights but found the first section to be a bit difficult with them with all the over the head arm movements. Today is LG. yikes. I have never done this workout before because I was always scared my legs would bulk up. but I'm going to give it a try tonight. and then some yoga.

Hi Jessica.
Glad those oreos are gone Jessica. Last night my son helped himself to "12" of them and I actually put 7 back in the bag without even a Lick!!(If I eat oreos, I usually just eat the middles)

I only did the Rhythmic L section of RS. Not the whole routine!

It's gonna be hot & humid here in NE PA today too. For the next week.x(
I think I've read in here somewhere about "weighted gloves" for KPC.
Good luck w/ L&G. It is an awesome wo. I have a love/hate relationship w/ it.

Good morning, ladies!

I received my new Cathe workouts last night (yay!), so today I am going to do the Basic Step workout followed by S&H Triceps/Biceps. I think my rotation for the next few weeks is going to include a cardio (primarily step as I am determined to learn how to do it without injuring myself) followed by either S&H or the Gym Styles. I also have the Pyramids, but I love S&H because I don't like running around changing weights, etc.

I haven't done KPC with weighted gloves; I think it would be something to work up to, though.

Hope you are all doing well!

By the way, Kali, I think we should do a daily post... just IMO.

Hi, ladies!

I just finished Basic Step... that is Cathe's beginner step workout, and I will tell you, it is a GREAT intro to step. I did it on an 8-inch step (I figured I had to get intensity in somewhere) and even worked up a sweat. I feel good about that.

I am going to make the kiddos lunch and then am doing S&H bis/tris this afternoon.

I am also thinking about taking my measurements and (gasp!) posting them for comparison purposes. Anyone up to that????

Hello ladies!

How starting a new check-in daily? That way it's easier to find the thread, plus it'll make me accountable on a daily basis.

I'm surprised that my arms aren't killing me as much as I thought they would (unless the evil DOMS are waiting till tonight or tomorrow AM to strike!}( )

I'm debating whether or not to wait till early evening to run (when it's "slightly" cooler, or borrow my grandmother's treadmill) . . . we shall see. I think I'm gonna tack on a Pilates session, too (work the abs & give everything else a good stretch!)

Jessica, good luck with L&G!!! I'm scared of it, too, and I've got it scheduled for tomorrow.

Marie, I haven't tried my S&H Legs yet, but one of the reasons why I like PUB is because it's all dumbell work = no fumbling with barbell plate changes. (Plus it forces me to work my arms equally - I'm trying to beef up the wimpy left arm!)

I second the motion for a daily thread - we should include the date in the title so that we know this si the most recent one....

Wow, it is HOT here! I am really a fall and spring kinda girl... I think I prefer the clothes, they're more forgiving. LOL

Hi Guys.
I just ordered a High Step! Woo hoo! I've been substituting one w/ my steps in the living room but they're shorter than my foot and I can't get my heel all the way on. I could only use the bottom one which is way too low to do any good.
I wanted to get a new DVD and couldn't decide so I got the High step & it comes w/ High Step Beginner circuit. So now I have a reason to buy the High Step DVD's.
I used my Stability ball last night for the 1st time w/ PLB. Oh my God!!! I had no idea how much harder it is to do butt crunches & inner thighs!!!! Can't wait to see the results tho!:7
I'm off to to PUB.
Dreading the jello arms already!x(
