Wendy, feel free to start the new check in if you're the first one up! Glad you got your workout in. I could use a StretchMax myself.

Cleo, those check ins sound great. It'll be fun. I never knew getting in shape could be this much fun. I love checking in w/ you all. :7

My MIL is having knee replacemnet surgery today. Maybe you all could keep her in your prayers. She won't be under for long at all, it's still a little scary tho. TIA

I am doing 2 combos from SB & then L&G's. I don't know why I dread that wo so much. (probably because it hurts me)}( I feel awesome afterwards! It's just like doom looming over me until I get up and do it!!

Marie, I've been posting all over the place wondering if you live in PA. I tried to email you but it spit it back at me.

Kali-your MIL is in my thoughts today. She will be fine! Have fun with L&G. That work out doesn't fit the bill for this rotation but once I finish this rotation I will have to include it in the next one! I just dread leg presses!!!:eek:

Well, I'm doing either Low Max or Imax 2 today but probably a premix and then if I still have energy (and time) maybe I'll do Step and Intervals from CTX to change it up. Then I have to do abs.

Other than that, I really have nothing planned. I have to do some laundry and over the next couple of days I have to go shopping for DH's B'day...He is IMPOSSIBLE to shop for! x(

Okay, well I think I'm gonna get to my work out now!

Good morning!!!

Well, I got up early and did PUB before it got too hot, but seeing as I already have interval running scheduled for tomorrow, I'm going to save it for then :). I think I'm also going to add in some Pilates after running tomorrow.

I don't feel as sore as I thought I would after doing L&G yesterday, but I'm sure the DOMS will catch up wih me at some point! }( I think I actually prefer this w/o because there are more leg presses and less of those evil squats and low-ends!

Kali, I hope your MIL is doing well. Wendy, have fun shopping - my DH is the same way!

Well, off to clean and pack and run a million errands - TTYL!!!

Cleo- You insane woman! LOL you prefer leg presses to squats/low ends!?!? :eek: lol I am the exact opposite! I know low ends are evil but the leg press about kills me! }(

Okay so I did IMAX 2-2nd premix plus Step and Int thur interval # 1 plus Power Circuit Abs. Phew! What a nasty sweaty work out that was! Gotta love it! }( }( }(

I made it GUYS!!!!!!!!!!

I have grey shorts on and they are soaked. Not just the waistline.
I did Combos 1&2 from Step Blast and my arch enemy L&G's}( x(
I have to say, it wasn't as bad as last week. I actually didn't mind the torture treatment oh I mean explosive lunges this time.:7

Nothing can touch me now today. Bring it on. You should here my 7 yr. old, he'll be playing w/ his brother or my husband and all of a sudden I'll here him say "BRING IT" I don't know what program he got that from. I think I only know it from the movie "Bring It On" with the cheerleaders? These kids crack me up sometimes. Not today tho.
Mom is untouchable today! (Probably tomorrow too because I'll have DOMS!!!}( )Hee hee.

Good afternoon, ladies!

Kali, I do live in Northeast PA.... I am right on the other side of Scranton (about 10 miles north). I work in NJ during the week, though.... are you closer to W-B or to Scranton??

I haven't worked out yet today. I am off to get the kids to the dentist and orthodontist, and my eldest has FOUR cavities! I am ready to kick his skinny white butt down the steps, lol. However, he has major ortho work this afternoon (every few months they do torturous things with metal and bands) and is getting the fillings (all four) tomorrow AM, so I am hoping the pain will be inspiring for future toothbrushing sessions, lol.

You guys work out SO much, I feel like such a slacker! I have S&H chest & back on my "rotation" for today. I am not actually doing a rotation, but trying to hit every body part during the week as well as get in my cardio. My butt is killing me right now, though, from ME and PM earlier this week. That's fine with me, lol.

You are not a slacker. You are very busy and you get really tough workouts in. I too don't mind when my lower body is killing me. Then I know it's working.}(
I think your son will get the picture soon enough. Ouch. lol. Poor guy.

I have decided that I am not doing Legs and Glutes in the morning time anymore. I don't have the energy to do explosive anything in the am especially with a belly full of food in my stomach. (yeah, I know..not suppose to eat before working out, but I do)
I do better working out in the evening when I have more energy from food. And Low Max makes me dizzy when she does the cha-chas too many times around. I just don't like to spin.

I don't like spins much either Charlotte.

I was told if I'm working out more than 30 min. after I get up, eat something. If it's within 30 min. don't. But our bodies are all different. And I've found if I eat enough throughout the day I do ok working out on an empty stomach the next morning. I just don't do that all the time tho.x( And my body knows when I don't.

Down with the explosives!

Hey guys--

I have to kiss tomorrow's interval running good-bye - I had to reschedule a cholesteral/blood-sugar test and the only time they can get me in before the end of August is tomorrow at 10:00. I'd run before that, but I have to fast for 12 hours before the test, and I think it would be unwise to exercise without food (and I am NOT running later in the day - too freakin' hot!!!)

So I guess I'll just stick with BC on Fri and then interval running + abs on Sat. And since I'm totally procrastinating and putting off packing, I put together next week's rotation, too:

Sun - PUB
Mon - L&G
Tue - KPC
Wed - PUB + PLB floor w/ st. ball
Thu - interval running + abs
Fri - BC/HSTA
Sat - MM
Sun - OFF

OK . . . must go pack . . . }(

Kali, that is too funny! One of my best friends lives in Pittston! I promise I won't stalk you either, lol.

Charlotte, you know, I thought I was the only one who disliked some of the dancier types of moves. I feel like an idgit cha-chaing around my living room, plus anything more than a singular pivot and I am in vertigo land, ick. I usually substitute something slightly more elegant!

No workout for me yet...we were at the ortho for 2 hours because whatever they did the first time he was "back there" undid itself as I was writing out the check! He had to go back and get redone, and this time they took the time to make sure it was right. Eh. We are talking about eating Chinese for dinner. Chinese food is my single downfall. I never eat the stuff from the "healthy" menu - if I wanted steamed vegetables with no flavor, I guess I could cook those myself!

PS: Cleo, why are you getting a cholesterol test? Is that something you do regularly?

I don't cha-cha, mombo, straddle, sweep, etc. I like structure and more of it. Just repeat the same thing over and over again so I can follow. Maybe that is why I never do any of the Imaxes, Rythmic Step, Step Blast, etc. I will do Low Max and have the remote to fast forward pass the cha-cha's. I love KPC though...maybe its the music. LOL!

I forgot...if your having chinese to take home, cook up some brown rice to substitute for the white rice to go with your entree. Just a suggestion.
