Hi Guys!

How is everyone this Hot & Humid morning? I was up at 5:30 and it was already in the 70's here. YUCK!x(

I did PLB last night (reluctantly) but it felt great (especially when I was done!):7 I did not need steps to fall down after that. I felt like I was gonna fall on the floor just putting my stuff away!

I am happy to tell you I got thru all the combos & blasts of LowMax this morning WITH MY STEP!!:7 WooHoo!:) After PLB last night I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get thru it but I perservered.

I have PUB tonight. Looking forward to that. I am really liking working my arms lately. Maybe because I'm seeing them shape and tone up. I am putting my legs thru Hell tho because that's where I need it most.

I was just joking last night w/ that post about our mishaps. I hope I didn't offend anyone. I just thought it was funny how we all have our little mishaps.;-)

God in my hometown we grew up with that word! I think it was in our High School vocabulary books! LOL!:+

I want to put my legs thru hell too. That is why I am going up the mountain tomorrow and doing walking lunges with weights. Got to prepare myself for it so I am doing ME tonight to help for Endurance! LOL! I like to do KPC and Legs and Glutes together too. I have noticed great improvement doing them and combining would only be better, don't you agree?

I think what your doing is great. Seems like we have the same ideas when it comes to legs.

Kali, congrats on LowMax! also, no offense taken. i thought it was funny how we all had mishaps. hot and humid is exactly what it is here. last night at 8 it was 89 degrees but it felt hotter because it was so humid. next week we're supposed to be in triple digits. i am not looking forward to that!

Marie, glad to know you are doing well. I'll be kickboxing today as well.

Ok, CardioKicks in the next hour. I know, I know I've been saying that for the past two days. Yesterday we were slammed at work and when I got home at 8 I just wanted to sit and relax. I'm going to add L&G also so I can hit up those legs some more.

Cleo, as soon as I finish this opinion for the judge it will be time for me to begin packing. I am not looking forward to it. I wish I could hire professional packers (and professional cleaners after I'm done packing).

Today is a circuit w/o for...Either Body Fusion or Cardio & Weights I figure...will decide when the time comes. ;)

Kali, if you don't mind my asking, what nationality are you? I kinda always thought "aina" might have been a polish thing because my grandparents were 100% polak. I am half polak and half mixed-breed! :p

Charlotte, I saw your new pics and see nothing wrong with your legs! You look great! But alas, we are our own worst critic so I can completely understand it if you are finding fault with them and want to make them look better. When I complain about things I get "yelled" at and told that there is nothing wrong with me also yet I see an entire body full of flaws! lol

My legs are hurting me...DOMS I guess but I don't really know what from. Oh well. I'm gonna take it easy on any leg work I do during my work out today and then hopefully I can squeeze Stretch Max in!

Hey Wendy! I am 1/2 Italian, 1/4 Polish &1/4 Russian.
I don't know where "aina" came from to be honest. I grew up in a small "pizza" town where it still gets thrown around as much as "hi"
I think it's just a lazy slang word. My Dad (who is the Italian) used to always yell at us for saying it. "That's not a word!"he'd say and then say some filthy Italian curse!:7

DH is always telling me I look a lot better than I think I do. I believe him but that doesn't change a thing in my mind. Although when I catch nice looking guys looking at me or beeping to me I believe him just a teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeny bit. LOL}( I am definatley my own worst critic. I have to tell you guys tho, my self esteem has shot thru the roof since I started working out with Cathe and hanging in here with you guys. I'm serious.

Have a good w/o Wendy. My legs feel like tons.x( That's a good thing tho!!!}( I have KPC & L&G's tomorrow and BC Thursday! This should be interesting huh?

I think "aina," or "haina," the variant I grew up with, is a regional thing. I grew up in NE PA (near Kali!) and lots of people say it. For those of you scratching your head, it is used like the word, "right," or "yes," as in, "We're going to the movies, haina?"

I must admit this word DRIVES ME CRAZY, lol!!!!! My children are not allowed to use it and my siblings know better than to start with me about it, hehehe.

PS: FYI, my family is Irish and a teensy bit German. I actually think this word is rooted in Pennsylvania Dutch vocabulary (more towards central PA)... they also put an interesting lilt on the ends of their sentences so that everything sounds like a question. ;)
 
ok so I'm starting to feel as though I will never be able to do the workouts I plan for myself. I did CardioKicks (must add hand weights next time) and was preparing for L&G when my phone rings and my apartment building wants to show my apartment around 11:30. they called me at 11:32!! the clients were proabably sitting in the office (which is only downstairs). uh, thanks for the warning! i had to hop in the shower because I sweat pretty heavily when I work out (plus not ready to wear my sports bra and shorts in front of strangers! grrrrr

on a better note, I can tell my fitness level is improving as I did not find CardioKicks as difficult as I had the last time I remembered. SO told me I have a line in my calves that wasnt there before and my legs are harder, not as flabby. so I guess I am slowing working towards my goal of downsizing the lower body.

Wendy, I don't have Body Fusion but I like Cardio and Weights a lot (on schedule for Friday, but the way this week is going i'm not holding my breath.)

Step Blast and SuperSets on deck for tomorrow. Today is my last day at Ann Taylor Loft so hopefully I can get this opinion done tomorrow and I will be set!

I can't wait to do Body Max on Friday! If I'm not dead after BC Thursday that is.

I have some DOMS in my legs girls.}( And I will probably have them in my arms tomorrow after doing PUB tonight. I will get thru that Bicep segment even if I have to do one arm rewind, and do the other.

Great workouts Padme. My 7 year old just popped Episode 2 in. Do you have Bootcamp yet? We're doing it on Thursday if you want to join in if you have it. This will be our 2nd annual "Group Bootcamp Day".

Hi guys!

I just finished L&G and am so happy to be working out again!!! I'm doing PUB tomorrow (I might tack on some cardio if I'm not drowning in too much sweat). We'll see how the forearm stitches do and then I'll decide about doing BC on Thurs. I get the stitches out on Monday (6 days and counting!!!)

Kali, you're gonna love your PH DVD. I only have the VHS versions of these w/os, but I still love them. Hmm.....maybe I should dust off BM :D I liked your little descriptions of our group - we're all "special"!!! ;-) Thanks again for the fasting reminder - I'll probably end up stuffing myself with some sort of high protein meal right at about 7:59! }(

Jess, I'll do my best to send you packing vibes, but I think I might have it a little easier b/c I'm only moving across the street (and I've already been taking stuff over there bit by bit). Still, though, I feel your frustration about landlords showing your apt on THEIR schedule - I have no idea if the person's coming to look at mine on Wed or Thurs and god knows what time??? My landlord better not get her hopes up about the place being "presentable" - I've got packing boxes, clothes, and random piles of stuff all over (plus my weight set all over the living room! Oh well . . .

Just a question for those of you who own L&G: have you done any of the KPC/L&G circuit w/o's (premixes)? Just curious.

6 days will fly by Cleo and you'll get those nasty stitches out! Hey if you decide it's best to skip BC this Thursday, we'll get you next time. We don't want you to hurt yourself. Hey at least you're working out again!:7

Good Evening all.

Okay so I did Body Fusion and Stretch Max today! And guess what...I was able to do BF on a FULL SIZE STEP! Yes, it came today! I am thrilled!!! It was awesome I tell ya!
I was stepping on this puny thing which was fine for learning and okay for some of Cathe's stuff (including BF actually), but for her other vids it can be hard to do some of those moves where you spend alot of time on top of the step because the smaller was is very narrow so my foot just fits on it!

Tmrw is interval day so I am supposed to do Step & Intervals...giving myself a break from IMAX 2. :)

I hope you're still planning on BC Thursday Wendy. As you can see in the thread I started we have some friends joining us.
Glad your step came! Sounds like a lot of fun. I have a regular step and I feel like I'm gonna fall off it if I'm not careful.

I did PUB & the step premix from my brand new BodyMax w/out my step. It is a fun workout. It flew by even tho I felt like I couldn't lift my legs off the ground. OUCHx( x( ! They don't really hurt, they just feel heavy and tight I guess you could say.
