Good Morning Ladies!

What's on tap for today for everyone?

I just got done. I did 5 different 4x20 sets of lower body, 4 combos from Imax2 and MIS upper body and abs. That was a great workout.
I seriously wanted to do Bootcamp. I was even going to try it twice, and I remembered my guitar lesson. I haven't had one in 2 weeks, so it's going bad enough as it is, let alone if I went bouncing in there after doing Bootcamp. That's the first thing he asks me when I get there. "You didn't do that Bootcamp thing did you?" I think I'll do it tomorrow or I'll close the week out and do it Saturday. So this week I will have 5 days total body, and 1 circuit workout.

Good morning!

Kali, even though you didn't do BC it sounds like you had a challenging workout anyway.

My workout is scheduled for this evening. This morning I have two interviews then orientation for transfer students. fun, fun. i plan on running for my workout - use my new mp3 player!
Terri, my mp3 player is one i picked up from target. i almost went for the ipod shuffle but it was 40 dollars more than the one i bought and since i only plan on using it for running, it wasn't worth it to me. i think it is audiovox or something. its the sports edition so i hope it holds up if it ever falls, although the arm band works quite well. i'm happy with it. it has 256 mb which is enough for me.

Hi Kali, Jess, Terri, Marie and Cleo.

I have a circuit w/o, 20-30 mins extra cardio plus abs on tap for today. If I have the energy I will do BC, otherwise it's gonna be C&W today I think. Who knows what cardio I'll do...I'll decide when I get to it. I also think I'll do abs on my own again. Maybe I'll just change up the exercises a little and do 200 instead of 150 this time! :)

That's the key, Kali...it's not easy to eat that many HEALTHY calories! If I could eat JUNK it would be REALLY easy! LOL :p
Kali, are you doing the f-c-p ratios too or just concentrating on the carlories?? It's so funny that you are "banned" from doing BC on guitar lesson days!

Good Morning Everyone!

I am going to be doing PUB today and I want to get in those 1000 crunches again because I loved the way it made my tum tum feel. LOL!

I did the Boot Camp twice and for me. It was tough and I suggest eating before, during and after as it really takes alot fuel to keep going. I want to do it again twice, but have been thinking of doing KPC twice too.

I just did low max with weights and that is really a fun one to do that way.

Hey Charlotte, you just reminded me that I have yet to attempt the BC twice challenge! I gotta do that one day but now with the new rotation I am doing, my work outs are longer by about 30 minutes 4 days per week and to do BC twice would tack on another 30-45 minutes! I'd have to do that when DH is home as I don't think Joey would let me get away with a 2 hour work out! lol He's a good baby but everyone has thier limits, right? lol

I gotta try those 1000 crunches too. I'm only up to 500.

Hey Wendy. I try to keep my fat low, protein high, and try to stick to complex carbs. And I try not to eat carbs after 3pm. Especially bad ones. I mainly concentrate on the calories even tho I don't eat enough. I'm just not hungry. Maybe as I start working harder and getting stronger that'll change.
Hope you get the time to do Bootcamp. Are you liking your rotation so far? How do you feel?

Hey Jess! Sounds like your enjoying your MP3 player. Probably because you don't have to keep picking it up and putting it back together! LOL.

Charlotte and Kali--I will do BC twice...just have to save it for an evening or weekend when DH is home!

Kali--Pinky posted a work out she did where she did Low Max and added in freestyle leg work with weights after each blast. It looks KILLLER! It's in the open forum somewhere.
I've only completed 1 day of the new rotation so far. It's about 30 minutes longer 4 days per week than what I normally do so it will take some getting used to. I will love if it works and I won't like it if it doesn't!:p
 
Wendy- I have a feeling it's going to work now that you're on the Staggering train! LOL.
Do you have any of the Gymstyles? I'm buying something new and want to get something Freestylish.
Anyone have any ideas for me?

Nope, I don't have any of the Gym Styles at this point. So Kali, what the heck is FREE STYLE anyway? Do you prefer it over what you had been doing?
 
Today for me will be HSTA and I may attempt to do it twice. Yesterday I did the 1000 cunches that Charlotte did. It was doable and kind od=f stuck up on me as far as the fatigue goes. It felt great to complete it though and I had doms from it when I woke up today. I also for some reason had doms from stepblast and the 5 intervals yeterday. I usually dont get doms from cardio like that.

Jessica-I know you are liking the mp3 player. I hate to run unless I have my ipod too keep me motivated.

Wendy-Bootcamp twice was actually fun! So when you can scheule it it. I wish you continued sucess on your new rotation and the calorie zig zag! I know what you mean about the calories in that are from good sources!

Kali- Guitar lessons sound fun. My son plays and has a band so I think of him whenever you mention that. They just recorded their first cd!

Charlotte-You are a crunchaholic..LOL You go girl!

I'm not sure what it is. LOL. I'm just winging it. I have to get a book. Yes. It's only been a week but I am really liking it. It just takes a little more time which is ok for now, but I have to come up with some sort of schedule for myself with certain body parts certain days. There are just not enough days in the week!LOL

Good morning Terri-great job with the crunches! That's awesome about your son! How long has he been playing? I'll be a lifetime beginner! LOL. I just want to be able to pick it up and play for myself. If I ever learn the entire song I'm working on I'll be thrilled!

Kali-he has been playing since he was 13. He picked up a guitar and taught himself. He also sings in the band. He can also play drums and bass. I have no clue where he got that talent as I have none in that area! When the cd is released I will let you know the name etc...

Great! I'd love to hear it! I can't wait to tell my teacher! How old is he now? He sounds VERY talented! I'm not sure I have the talent to play. I have a few family members that are musically talented. But my talent was dance so I don't know how this is going to pan out.LOL.

Hello Ladies!

Well. The guitar lesson went really well. I did a lot better than I expected. Hey Wendy maybe I will be able to play something when we go away! I will never say never again.
I am having a lot of fun doing it Terri.:7 It's a fun hobby. I'm really starting to enjoy it.
I did ballet and jazz for 15 years and I took jazz again for 2 years just 2 years ago. It was a lot of fun going back. I also cheered for a semi-professional football team. My dream was to cheer for a Pro team, but that's not what was in the cards. My alcoholism took care of that. LOL.
I think that's why I enjoy doing Cathe's cardios so much. It's just like dancing to me.
Well enough about me.

What kind of aspirations do you guys have or HAD if any?

Hey, I'm very late but I wanted to check back in once my work out was done. I actually finished it a couple hours ago but just now got back to my computer.

I did the 46 min SJP step & weights circuit then Body Fusion (step only) and 200 crunches. Good work out. Took about 90 minutes total and I burned ***764 cals*** not including the ab work or w/u, c/d & stretch! :)

I actually came within only 1 calorie of my calorie goal today! I couldn't believe it! :7 And my ratios were pretty good today too.

Kali---glad to hear you are doing so well with the guitar! Can't wait to hear a song! :)
 
Great workout Wendy! Keep it up and you'll be shedding those pregnancy pounds in no time flat!!! And then some! Good job with the eating too. I am no where near my calories needed. My ratios are pretty good. I am dying for icecream. I asked DH to go get some for me but he gave me some lewd comment and now I've lost my appetite! LOL.
The boys are gone to bed. I'm trying to get them in a little earlier so they get used to it for school. It's nice to have some quiet time at 9:00 pm instead of 10:30 or later! Is Joey down for the night?

Hey Kali! Didn't think anyone would be back to read my post tonight! LOL

Joey is napping but not down for the night yet...he needs to eat one last time (around 10 probably) and I am hoping to give him a bath before that. Once he eats hopefully he'll go down for the night soon after that...

You know they have low fat and fat free icecream and frozen yogurt!!! I hear it's pretty good! Try it and then maybe you won't get those dang lewd comments from DH! :) I should get some myself so that I can have a treat and not feel guilty for it! ;)
