Good Morning Lovely Ladies!:)

I was just reading a post about all of the ladies leaving today/tomorrow to come to my home state for the road trip and it made me sad. :-( I would sooo love to go...it's only a couple hours ride from my home but I just can't. I never even approached the issue with DH because I knew my baby would still be very new and I didn't think it right to leave DH with him for a full w/e PLUS I didn't think he'd like me blowing that kind of cash when I was not going to be working any longer. Well, a few weeks ago I found out that it would have been okay for me to go BUT DH's B'day is this saturday so it actually STILL would have been an impossibility. Basically I was not going to be able to go no matter what. :-( Hopefully it will be a smashing success and it will be repeated next year so that maybe I can attend! :)

Anyway...enough of feeling sorry for myself this morning!:p

A circuit w/o is on the table for today...you ladies know what that means!!! It's BOOT CAMP day!   Once per week! I made a promise to myself and I intend to keep it!

The boards are going to be dead this weekend. So many are going to be at the roadtrip. I hope you ladies be around to keep me company! :+

TTYL!

I wish I could go to the road trip also Wendy. I have to work this weekend. Maybe next year...
Today I did LowMax and it kicked by behind. This afternoon I am going to try to do 1 CoreMax section and maybe triceps/biceps. I hope all goes well for the roadtrippers and those of us cheering them on from home.;)

Good morning, ladies!

Wendy, don't feel bad. I am in NE/PA and work in NJ but I am not going, either. I just don't feel comfortable with my level of "expertise" with Cathe to actually do any workouts in front of other people, lol. I was thinking this morning that my goal is to get as comfortable with all of the different workouts (really, I am primarily thinking of the step workouts) to go next year.

This morning I did S&H chest/back, which I obviously never got to last night. I actually held the planks for the entire time - that was progress for me!

We are taking the kids to Hersheypark on Sat so I won't be around much this weekend, but I will be thinking of you all!

;)
Marie

PS - Charlotte, do you do SJP? I am thinking about getting it because of the hi/lo... plus I have the Timesaver and the step combos on there are tricky but fun.... just curious.

What about the rest of you guys? (Even those of you with dance-y tendencies, lol) What do you think of SJP/SP?

Thanks!
Marie

Marie I LOVE Hershey Park. Haven't been there in years though.

I'm taking my son to Knoebels on Friday night. They have a sundown swimming special $7 - to swim and ride the water slides from 5:00-10:00.

Hi Marie.

I love the SJP/SB dvd! SB is an awesome step routine and I am NOT a dancey type of person. :) SJP is a lot of fun too! The hi/low is intense and the step choreography is not too difficult. (I also tend to think of myself as choreography-challenged!)

Hi! how's everyone doing?

back from vegas. SO is out of world series of poker but he did clean up at the blackjack tables.

as for my fitness and health, i have a lot of damage control to do. i only worked out one day while i was in vegas and i did not eat too healthy.

tonight i am going to try to do RS but I only got 4 hours of sleep and I have a long day ahead of me so I might not be feeling it when I get home.

I too love SB and SJP.

Wendy, I saw in another post you asked about whole foods. i love that store. produce is always really good there. it is a bit more expensive but I think you get what you pay for and so it is worth it.

ok, gotta get ready to begin the day!
Jessica

Hi Guys.

Missed you Jess glad you're back.

I was ready to sign up for the trip when I saw the post but I don't think I have enough "experience" at Cathe wo's either. Hey if there's one next year maybe we will all get to go.:)

I have BC tomorrow Wendy. Good luck with it! Let us know how you do.
Did you get something for DH yesterday? God forbid you leave him on his BD!:p lol

Do you like LowMax Padme? It is definatley a butt kicker.

I haven't been to Hershey Park in years either Marie. Have a wonderful time. Good weekend to go. Good job w/ the planks.

Dana are you near NE/PA too?

I love SB & SJP, but I am a very dancey person! lol I prefer step wo's to everything else. 20 yrs. of jazz & ballet will do that to you!

I did S&H Triceps/biceps last night and 4 step seg. of LowMax.
I'm off to do IMAX2x(. I am PMSing and very tired. But I've got to do it. I'll just modify if need be.;-)
Then I'm off to my guitar lesson. DH says I'm doing good for only having 3 lessons. I don't think so tho. But that's just my nature.

TTYAL,
Kali

Hi Kali. I live in Bloomsburg. Isn't the "Staircase" in Pittston??? I just heard on the radio the Taproot is going to be there on July 30th. I LOVE them but a loud, smokey club is not the place for a mamma-to-be, DARN!!!

I'm done w/BC. YEAY! :7 I am eating now cause that work out makes me HUNGRY!!! Then I have to take a shower and run out to do my errands.

TTYL!:)

Dana,

It's funny that you should bring that place up! I had never heard of it before in my life and just a couple of weeks ago my mom and I met a couple who were telling us about it and how it's a great park for kids. It's inexpensive, clean, etc. and kids love it! Have fun! My mom is going to tell my sister about it for her kids and maybe one day in the future I will be bring Joey there!:7

You're right Dana a loud, smokey club is not for you right now. Don't feel bad. I don't drink so it's definatley not the place for me either.:)
Boy. You are not that far from me. Maybe Marie, you and I can meet sometime! Marie is only about 20 min. from me. I would love to meet you guys but totally understand if you don't want to do that.;)

Wendy. Awesome job w/ BC.
I did Imax2 AND cardio segments from C&W's. I only have Fittv versions of these two so Imax2 is 35min., C&W's cardio is only a little over 20 min.
I didn't think I would get thru Imax but it woke me right up. The only thing I had to modify were the plie jax at the end. I just did plie squats. And I am thinking, "I am not a genie so why do I do genie squats? "I am so glad I worked out. I feel so much better.
Talk to you guys after my guitar lesson!
Kali

Hi everybody!

Wendy, I know what you mean - I am always wiped by the end of BC (and I LOVE it!!!).

So, I totally could've worked out today, but oh well. To make a long story short, when I made the appt. for the cholesterol test I also told them that I wanted my doc to check out a few moles of mine (b/c I'm paranoid). (SIDE NOTE: I probably don't even need the test, but I have a new doctor as of moving here, and even though I'm in perfect health w/ perfect blood pressure, etc., she wanted me to have the test just to be on the safe side b/c there's a lot of heart disease/attacks and some diabetes in my fmaily history.)

Anyway, I didn't eat or drink anything but water for the required 12 hours and the plan was to see my doc first at 10:00 and then go to the lab. She looked at my moles and agreed that I should have them removed just in case, and she set up an appt. with another doctor who's really good at this (= lots of cosmetic experience). He happened to have an opening this afternoon at 1:00 so I went ahead and made the appt. (why wait, right?) and then left to go run some errands, eat something, and kill time before then - totally forgetting that I was supposed to go to the lab! 12 hours of fasting for nothing!!!! AAHHH!!! (So now I have to go back and fast again next week)

To make things worse (sorry for going on and on), one of the moles he removed is in the crease line right underneath my left breast. He said to try not to wear a band-aid unless absolutely nescessary, but how am I going to wear a snug sports bra and work out with 2 stitches right there?!?!? (I know . . . priorities ;-) ) I get the stitches out in 10 days, but I'm not supposed to go swimming either!! WAH!!!!!! ;( x(

I know it's a good thing to have them removed and to not wait, but still . . . . I just needed to vent. I'm going to try running with the sports bra tomorrow and see how that goes - I'm thinking that any type of kickboxing where I'm cross-punching is probably not a good idea (twisting, friction, iritated stitches, eh . . . ). So, send me lots of quick-healing vibes!!!! I'm probably going to go without a bra as much as possible (hope my tank tops w/ shelf bras will be comfortable).

OK, thanks for letting me rant - catch ya guys later!
Cleo (AKA "Chest-handicapped Girl")

Cleo, wow, that sounds so awful! I have no suggestions but I will send you good vibes.... meanwhile, I am so sorry you forgot you were fasting for a reason!!

Hope you feel better soon!

Marie

PS: Will they biopsy the moles?

Cleo, you did the best thing getting them off immediatley even tho you have to suffer thru a little. Just try to stay comfortable so you don't irritate it. Shelf bras are pretty comfy I think.

That rots about the fasting. But apparently this is how your day was supposed to work out. Right? Not exactly like you planned. As they say "we plan, God laughs". We won't let you forget next week.;-)
Let us know more details. It's always better to share!

Healing power vibes headed your way! Lots of hugs too!:7
Kali

Thanks guys! I'll tell you right now so that you and I won't forget: my fasting appt is scheduled for Wed at 8:00AM. :) (= no eating after 8PM on Tuesday) :(

And don't worry - I definitely WON'T forget the appt for the stitches. Actually, these are the first stitches I've ever had (not counting the ones in my mouth from having my wisdom teeth removed). Yes, they're going to send the 2 moles to the pathology lab for tests (standard procedure every time they remove a mole).

The only reason I wanted to get them checked out is b/c one of them (on my forearm) is not a perfect circle shape (it's missing a corner) - I don't think it was always like this, but I honestly don't remember (and better safe than sorry!). I wasn't sure if the other one (under my breast) was actually a mole or part of an old scar, or "skin tag" as the doc called it. He thought its shape and color were totally benign, but removed it anyway cause I was in there and wanted it off! Apparently, skin tags are common, but I'm paranoid and wanted it all done in one appt! :p (I wasn't looking for an excuse not to exercise, I swear!!! :D )

I'll keep ya posted!
Cleo
