Summer check in.. Sunday, 7-3-05

Hi guys. How's everyone doing this beautiful Sunday afternoon?

I rested yesterday. Did StepBlast & a 30 min. total body toning tape today. Feel much better after a good sleep.

We're headed down the IL's later for a cookout. I've got BBQ ribs in the oven. They smell wonderful. Too bad I won't eat any. They have way too much fat for me. I'll have salad, fruit, my niece is a Vegan so maybe I'll have one of her soy burgers. Any body else cooking out?

Hi everyone

It is beautiful here in Chicago - I almost went for a run by the lake instead of my planned MIC and PLB but I can't run on pavement anymore without feeling serious pain in my knee.

So I did MIC and PLB. I forgot how intense the hi/lo of MIC is and I always hate how the first combo of step segment is slow due to the teaching of all the moves. I want to keep the intensity up so I usually fast forward.

Unfortunately I am working this afternoon (I'm part time at Ann Taylor during summers) so no fun cook outs for me, hopefully tomorrow.

I hope everyone is enjoying the extra long weekend!

Hi girls!

I just finished PUB and am starting to up my weights on the bicep & tricep parts!!! I already match Cathe on the others body parts, but these 2 were a bit harder (It makes me feel better, though, when I see Cathe somewhat struggling to get through the set, too!)

After all that time I put into my rotation planning, I went and changed it again (DOH!). Oh well. One of my main goals is to really see some sharper definition in my upper body, so I'm always game for PUB! As long as I don't change it up again, here's what I have "tentatively" planned:

MON: KPC
TUE: L&G
WED: PUB
THU: interval running
FRI: BC or HSTA + PLB floorwork

So, Kali, I'll be doing L&G on Tues instead of Wed - do you still want to do it on the same day? (Sorry!)

p.s. I think we're headed to a cookout today, tomorrow, AND Tues. Sorry guys, but this is definitely the one time I cannot give up hot dogs! }(
 
Hey Ladies!

No BBQ's for me this year. Went on a little get-away with DH for Friday/Saturday. Left the baby with his mom. Today we were at an anniversary party for my best friend's parents and tomorrow we will go to my mom's for dinner, but no cook out. Fri/Sat I didn't work out. I know I was supposed to be doing Boot Camp with everyone on friday! I really thought I'd have time before we left but DH wanted to try to beat some of the traffic heading south so it was no go on the work out. :-( Today (sunday) I did the 2nd premix of Low Max. Tomorrow (monday) I am thinking of trying out Power Hour for the first time...it's the last one on the DVD that I haven't done yet.
