How was everyone's Friday night? I just hung out at home, practiced my guitar, and hung out in the forum.

When does DH get back Charlotte? How are you feeling today? Still sore?

Good morning Wendy, Marie, Jessica,and our long lost friend Cleo.

Marie when does your new job go into effect? Does it mean less traveling?

I'm off for a walk and then ME. I've got a family get together next Sunday for Labor Day with my Horseshoe opponents so I'm gonna kick it up a notch this week. The last time I played horseshoes with those guys I was 13lbs. heavier! :7

Are you sticking to your rotation Wendy? What kind of leg work are you doing?

Good Morning Lovelies!

Kali,

DH went to the Redskins game last night so he will be back sometime this morning. He had to stay overnight in Maryland as we live about 3 hours away from Landover, MD.
It is raining here this morning.
I got some sleep I really needed and don't feel like such a crab today! I want to try to get in my upper body workouts today.
When you do ME, do you have a hard time with the part when you have to put one leg back and one leg forward with the bar over your head for such a long time. This always burns my legs and they shake madly. Do you know what I am talking about? I got thru the bicep curl part once with 30lb's. Cathe uses 25 for that one. It is a killer workout in all! You are going to be like toast when you are done!!!!! LOL!

Charlotte~~~you are probably talking about static lunges! They are killers because Cathe makes you do sooo many and those low-ends, well...they speak for themselves, don't they! }( }( }(

Kali~~~You are gonna knock those guys' sox off! I hope you embarrass them with your strength! :7 ..and when you bend down to pick up the horseshoes make sure you shake that (much smaller and firmer) bootie at them too! ;):p }(

Hello to Marie, Jess and Cleo...Where the heck is Cleo!?!? I hope she's okay!

You guys are so funny. Oh don't worry. I'll shake it for them. Just kidding. It's all in fun. What's the best part of it is, we all used to party together, our families. And when I crossed the line and had to quit, I hated going to any kind of function where they were drinking. Family or otherwise. I felt so horrible about myself and the problems my drinking created and I was so ashamed.
But now I that I take care of myself, I have a blast when we get together. I don't sit in alone in a corner with my head down anymore. I talk and have a good time just like everyone else even tho I may be the only one not drinking. It's all the more fun because I know in the back of my mind that I don't need it to have fun. And I know they all see that because they tell me. That's the biggest compliment.

I know it's sick, but I LOVE static lunges.:p I went for my walk so I'm going to eat and tackle ME.
Charlotte glad you're in a better mood. Have fun with your upper body work. Know it's one of your favorites.:7 I'll be working upper body everyday this week to get ready for next Sunday!

Hi Everyone!

Kali, everyone is going to be wowed by your weight loss and based on your previous success with horseshoes - when you throw your first horseshoe their jaws are going to drop. Have lots of fun out there.

Charlotte, love the upper body work! I think because you see definition there a lot earlier than with lower body - although you have some nice definition now!

Last night I went to a bbq with some other law studens. It was fun to relax and just have fun. I have the longest list of things to do today - including grocery shopping and Janis Saffell's strikezone. There is a thread with mixed reviews of it but I got it for 6 dollars so I won't feel bad if it is not that challenging. If it isn't challenging I think I might throw in a weights workout.

Wendy, do you have joey's christening planned? What are you up to this weekend?

Hello, Marie. The interview went pretty well I think. We'll see if I get an offer. (I hope!). I'll let you know what I think of StrikeZone.

Well I just did Tri's and Bi's and had to bring down my curls to 40 pounds off the barbell. Oh, well! Just steamed clean my bedroom carpet. I don't know why it gets so dirty so fast...DOGS? I bathed them too just a few minutes ago. They get a bath every week. I hate cutting their nails though. It is so stressful as they hate it and I do to. LOL! Laundry is going and dishes done. O.k., I am telling you all this cuz it makes me feel better! :p

Well, it's TTOM for me so I feel kind of BLAH right now but I did segment 1 of Coremax despite the yuckiness. I also think that maybe that 1 pound weight gain was due to TTOM coming up! :7

I am leaving in a bit to go visit my SIL...we are bringing our puppy because he likes to play with thier dog. Should be a nice time. We are supposed to eat dinner there and I really have no idea what will be on the menu, (much less how to account for it calorie wise if I don't prepare it), so I am packing my own food to take with me just in case. If it's something that's not too bad and pretty easy to gauge for calorie intake, I will eat it...if not I have a b/u plan!

Hi Guys. Well I got thru ME. I felt like a bowl of jello afterwards.
It's not the static lunges I like Charlotte. It's the glute raises with one leg forward and the back leg stays straight as you lift your butt in the air? Love them.

Good job with the carpets. I did laundry all day. I'm going to church now. Be back later.

Well I just got done with dinner. I had grilled chicken breast over whole wheat noodles and broccoli. It was good. I didn't want to eat it all but I had to get some calories in.

We're just hanging out tonight. I'm pretty beat from ME. I think I'll work on my schedule for next week later.
Tomorrow is weigh and measure day for me.
Oh well. Gonna go do the dishes and check back later. Have a nice evening ladies.
