Happy Saturday Girls!

How are we all today? Hi Terri, Wendy, Marie, Jess, Cleo and Charlotte!

I slept until 8 am. It felt great. I am usually up by 5:45 w/ DH every day and that usually just continues on the weekend even tho I don't have to get up. Guess my body is tired.
My legs are none too happy this morning after PLB yesterday. I did really light weights but I REALLY SQUEEZED!!! :p They're not happy but I SURE AM!! }(

What's everyone else doing today? I'm doing the Fitness Fiesta off the rotation just for the hec of it. Figure it be a nice suprise for my body after Freestyle all week. Then CleanMax. No plans otherwise. Maybe go for a ride on the Harley later with DH.

Hey Kali girl!

I am going to work out today if I have time...full body weights, 20-30 min cardio and abs.

I got on the scale this morning even though my "weigh-in" is not officially until tuesday (I couldn't stand it, I had to peek! lol) and guess what!? I LOST 2 POUNDS! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE! :7 I am sooo happy! It's the only success I have seen since I lost that initial weight right after Joey was born! :+

Ok well I don't have much time...gotta get a move-on. Going out shopping for Joey's Christening outfit today and want to be out of the house by about 10am!

Kali, how was the guitar lesson?

Today I MUST be productive and MUST finish writing my law review article. I will be sitting at this desk until it is done. Hopefully it is done with enough time for me to go running and do PLB.

Did you guys see Sarah's (Imafitnessfreak) recipe for southwestern chicken? i'm excited to try it. I love mexican food - but unless you make it yourself it is so unhealthy!

Have a good day - I'm sure I will be checking in throughout the day in order to escape looking at my paper every minute

Jess stay focused and you'll get your article done! Yes I printed out Sarah's recipe. I'm going shopping tomorrow so I'm going to get everything I need for it. It does sound yummy. Have you been running a long time? I was just wondering.
My guitar lesson was great. I had a lot of fun. And I didn't do quite as bad as I thought I was going to do. He gave me a lot of new material to learn tho so I have got to practice more. That's later tho. I have got to clean at least half of this pig-sty today!

I'll be checking in all day too.

You must feel like your on top of the world. It is always good to keep getting closer to your goal, huh? Good for you! All your hard work is paying off and your back into "beast mode" again! LOL!

I just finished the Fiesta workout. I put on Gwen Stefani, which by the way was perfect for this particular workout. When the first song comes on and goes...tick tock, tick tock I was then doing the toe touches. I felt like a clock! LOL! When it came time to jump rope, I threw in some dance moves...just couldn't help myself. Oh, and most importantly I did 50 push ups!!!!! I did it, I did it, I did it!!!!! I cannot believe I did that many. I am SHOCKED! I had to take a 30 second breather inbetween 10 sets of each, but I did it!!!!
The 400 crunches are nothing now though if you can get up to 1000 a few times. Kind of a good habit to get into, I think.
Well it is blazing hot here today in Virginia and I am not sure I want to mow today, but I am making steak for lunch though so I am sure looking forward to that!!!! I will have a nice salad with it.

Charlotte!!!! You go girl! I love Gwen Stefani. Great job with the pushups! Yes I guess 400 crunches are a drop in the bucket after you've done 1000 a few times!}(

Alright. You've inspired me my dear Charlotte. I walked this morning and was going to chuck the Fiesta, but I think I'll do it soon as I'm done with this kitchen. I'll let you know how I do later!

Hi Everyone- I am taking a rest day today in hopes I will get better quicck! I say that but as I type I am thinking maybe tonight after I take it easy all day I will do some upper body from the gymstyles. I do however know I will not do cardio today. As someone else said to me this is my choice, I can take a rest and feel better or prolong feeling bad and do my 2-2-1/2 hours that I normally do. I prefer to feel better!

Hey Terri. Glad you're resting! I'm still cleaning my kitchen. What a project. If you're really feeling ok upper body probably won't hurt, but make sure you're up to it so you don't set yourself back. :) Got it? LOL!

My computer is in the kitchen. That's why it's taking me so long to get done!!!

Terri - i hope your immune system is fighting whatever you have and you feel healthy before you leave for vacation.
I ran cross country in high school but injured my knee junior year and so now I run sporadically. Last fall I joined a gym and began running pretty seriously again but my knee injury flared up and I quit the gym. I now wear a brace during any cardio - step or running and haven't had any problems. I ordered some puzzle mats for my workout room because the carpet is so plush in there I'm afraid I'll mess my knee up.


Today I ran 3.25 miles plus warmup and cooldown. It felt sooo good. I haven't worked out in a few days, but this was a nice welcome back. I went for speed rather than mileage today. I also did a bunch of lower body work. Kali, you are right freestyling does add more time to your workouts. I'm glad I ran today instead of doing a Cathe video so that cardio was only 30 minutes and I can get back to my article-- which is still not done. almost there. I admit I wasn't as diligent as I could have been.

Wendy, did you find a christening outfit?

Hey all.

Yeah, Jess, I found a Christening outfit! :) I also found a car seat but I did NOT find an outfit for MOMMA for the Christening or the wedding I have to go to that same weekend on friday! x( I'll have to keep searching...Hopefully in the meantime I will drop as much weight as possible so that I can shop for a smaller size. That would make my search much easier...not to mention waaay more pleasurable!

No work out today...no time so I took my rest day. Tmrw I hit the weights! }(
