Good morning Ladies?

How was everyone's weekend?
I am feeling so much better today Wendy. I just got done with the Step combo premix from LowMax & All Step. My shoulders feel great.

I'm lucky I was able to workout today. I slipped down my steps last night!x( Amazingly the only injury was a brushburned wrist. First thought in my head was "oh God did I hurt my legs?" That would really have put me over the edge yesterday!LOL Although if I hurt my wrist that would screw up my guitar lessons. Given the choice, I'd definatley have to sacrifice a wrist! (Glad my teacher doesn't come to this forum!):7 :7 :7

Today is supposed to be UNGODLY HOT & HUMID here in NE PA. I have PLB scheduled for tonight.

So it's Bootcamp for Thursday whoever's interested. So far Wendy, Jessica and I are signed up. Any more takers?

Cleo. Don't forget you're fasting tomorrow night after 8pm for Wednesday's lab work.;-)

Hey Marie wherever you are! Hope you're doing well.

TTYAL,
Kali

Happy Monday, everyone!

Kali, I'm glad you weren't seriously injured when you fell. Slipping on stairs is scary. We won't tell your guitar teacher ;)
This weekend Chicago was disgustingly humid. I could not believe all the tourists that I saw walking up and down Michigan Ave. I cannot imagine how hot and sweaty they were.

So I set my alarm early enough to work out before I had to leave for work but when I finally got out of bed (I always snooze at least once) my alarm clock said 9:30 - no time to work out this morning! I was bummed. Then as I was sipping my morning tea at my desk reading emails and looking at everyone's pics from the road trip I noticed my computer said it was 9am. I must have hit the hour button either when I set the alarm last night or this morning when I was reaching for snooze and I HAD awoken with enough time to work out! I wsa so mad because by the time I realized it, I would have been pressed for time if I worked out. Bummer! Now I have to be sure to do Cardio Kicks this evening when I get home.

Wendy, did you figure out whether your two HRM interfere with each other?

Have a great day!

Jessica

Hi guys!

Kali, thanks for the reminder! I will not fast in vain yet again!!! I've been kinda bummed about not working out, though. I haven't done anything since Wed because I don't want to put any extra strain on the stitches (which are already pretty tight). I did Pilates abs yesterday and am going to suck it up and do L&G tomorrow. If I'm feeling brave and my stitches are up to it, I'm determined to do PUB on Wed. (I miss working my upper body!!!) I'm glad you're OK after your fall - I usually tend to fall going UP the stairs, go figure.

But, I have been getting a lot of packing and organizing done in the interim, so it's better than nothing. ;-)

Wendy, I know what you mean about yummy, unclean Italian food! My DH's parents came over from Italy and my MIL's food is sooo good, although the phrase "smaller portions" means nothing to her! }( I always feel guilty if I don't clean my plate again and again . . . (Don't let me get started on her cookies!)

Jessica, don't feel bad about the clock thing - and here I thought that I was the only one who's done that on more than one occasion!

Well, I've got to run some errands and try to find some more packing boxes, so I'll see you all later!

Cleo :)

Good afternoon ladies.

Kali---Sorry to hear about your fall down the stairs but glad you are ok! :) Talk about hot and humid! UGH! I went out to run a couple of small errands and for the few minutes I was outside between stores I thought I was gonna melt! AWFUL!!!x(

Jessica---LOL on your alarm clock story. I could see myself doing something like that. :) Well enjoy CK tonight! I haven't done my gazelle work out yet today...I'm running behind. I will let you all know how it turns out with the HRMs though.

Cleo---Don't feel bad...I have fallen UP the stairs plenty of times! LOL :+ :+ :+

Marie---Hi. Hope all is well!

So, today is the Gazelle for me in a little while...I just have to change and feed my babe first.:) Later on after dinner I am going bowling.

Okay, well I'm off to do my thing! I'll be back!

Hello there,
I did Lowmax 1-4 today. It was really humid here in Wisconsin also over the weekend then it stormed last night and now it is maybe 10 degrees cooler but still hot. Have a great day everyone

Good afternoon, ladies!

I hope you all had nice weekends & are getting into your workouts for the week! We went to Hershey Park on Sat and it RAINED the entire time - very disappointing. The kids got on a couple of rides, we ate, saw a show.... and got very, very wet. lol We did get rainchecks, though, so we'll be going back sometime next month.

I did lots of walking Sat and yesterday was my rest day. TOday I did the step-only premix of Lowmax. That was my first time, so I was a bit clunky, lol.

I just got back from getting my hair done AND I had a glycolic peel, which felt WONDERFUL! I will check in again in a bit...

Cheers,
Marie

Jess that's too funny. This group is something else.

Cleo fasts and forgets to go to the lab.
Wendy can't figure out her gadgets.
I fall down the steps.
Jess has trouble with alarm clocks!
Marie trips over her Step! (just teasing you Marie. I had to make a point about our little group here being "special".;-)
How about you Padme? Any problems with anything simple lately? Like walking up or down steps?:7 Or with a household item or gadget?:7

Well at least you're getting some packing done Cleo. When do the stitches come out? Hang in there you'll be back to normal soon.:)

Good job on LowMax 1-4 Padme. That is an awesome workout. In fact I'm attempting 1-7 tomorrow again. Hopefully this time I'll make it all the way thru without having to do it on the floor.
Geez it must be humid across the whole US!x(

Hey Wendy! I was wondering where you were today. How's Joey? Have fun bowling. I want to go too! DH needs his shoulder replaced tho and can't bowl. He can't freakin do anything w/ me it seems Aina?x(

Marie! So sorry about the crappy weather Saturday for your Hershey Park outing. Good job w/ LowMax.You'll get it.

I told Wes (my guitar teacher) about my slip down the stairs. He is too cute. "Are you sure you're ok? Did you hit your "fretting" wrist?" I was like "screw my wrist buddy! I was more concerned with breaking a leg!" He is my SIL's brother so we're basically family. Hey maybe I could ask him to go bowling. Nah. Family or not DH wouldn't go for that.;)

Alright. I'm supposed to do PLB tonight. I am planning on doing so. But who knows.:p TTYAL, Kali

LMAO, Kali! I almost fell off my chair when I read your post and you used the word "aina"!?!? Well, not that it's REALLY a word! :p My grandparents used that "word" all of the time and I didn't think anyone else did! You made me smile! Thanks. :) Joey is doing awesome, by the way! He's my little angel boy! :+

Anywhooo...I did a 3 minute w/u and then 20 minutes on the gazelle going full throttle but I still couldn't get my HR up high enough so I got off and jumped right into the step of Body Fusion (1st 2 combos only). I did it high impact and got my HR up there and then I did the stability ball abs from that dvd. Total cals burned between the gazelle and BF step was 327. I didn't use the gazelle's hr this time, I used my watch. I will use the gazelle again this week for the same amount of time at the same pace and see what the other hr monitor says. My watch said my avg hr on the gazelle was 110 and the high hr was 127. For BF my avg hr was 134 and my high was 150. See why I switched up when I did?

Ok, I'm beat and my baby just went to sleep so I'm headed in the same direction! Talk to you all again in the morning!
