I need two more vinyl 10# weights with hand holds for my Cathe Barbell (which I love) but I can't afford the shipping from Cathe. I bought the 40# BB and now need to go the 60#. Am I just stuck? Any suggestions that I can get from Amazon? I have free shipping with Amazon. I used my budget getting Cathe's next series of LM&R 2 Elevated. I lurk but I've been with Cathe since 2002. CAP makes “Grip” plates with a 1” center hole but as Debinmi says that may be too small. Cathe’s plates work with my ancient Firm Barbells, which have a 1” bar. I’m going to try to post a picture with one of our iron 1” plates under Cathe’s plate. The difference in hole size is small but probably enough to be too small for Cathe’s bar. I’d call or email customer service for a concrete answer.
I forgot about my Cathe weighted vest! I've had it for ages but never use it. I have a barbell from The Firm days! And all the plates are the old iron ones. The length of the bar is shorter than Cathes, it's much heavier and the grip is very wide. I love my new Cathe Barbell. I think I have to wait (weight) until the next sale. Thanks for all of your help.
