Substitutions

Hi Everyone!

New to the post and was wondering if there is a thread or posting for substitutions on videos. I am slowly buying my videos/DVDs but still need some substitutions on the rotations.

Can anyone help?

This is quite a tall order. Why don't you come at us one rotation at a time and ask for advice on substitutions? I think that way, you'll get more suggestions.

I need a substitution for MIC. I don't know if that is a all cardio or if it has weight training on it. What would you suggest?

Hi T,

MIC is a 70 minute, very advanced cardio workout. The first half is hi/lo floor aerobics and the second half is a step workout with an intensity blast at the end. Depending on what you have, you could do something like the following:

Option 1:

Either program your dvd player or use the Mix 'n Match feature:
Step Blast warm up;
Step, Jump & Pump hi/lo add-on premix (cardio only, no weights);
Step Blast combo 2;
Step Blast combo 3;
Step Blast challenge, cool-down & stretch.

Option 2:

Circuit Max (skip the weight work) followed by CTX Step & Intervals.

Another idea -

Jog for 30 mins and than do Step Blast or RS entirety......

or

30 mins jog
SB Combo 1&3 and SB Challenge


or SJP Cardio Only and RS

Just a thought - those are some that I have used.
 
Great! I like the Option 2. I just bought Circuit Max and have CTX step and intervals. I haven't tried the Mix 'n Match yet, could be a good time to try.
