Morning all!!

Today is easy cardio. I'm just doing the step only combo from LM. Today is also weigh day. I am up 1lb from last week, however that still makes 3 lbs total lost. I was down another lb yesterday, but 2 higher today than yesterday:mad::confused::(:confused: I think it may have to do with the Mexican food from last night - lots of salt. But the 1lb more is what counts as Sunday is the day the weigh in goes on the chart. Lots of water and veggies today and hopefully the scale will make its way back down. The overall trend is what I'm looking for. I don't trust my scale anyway. Last week, I was trying to remember what my ankle wts weigh, as they aren't marked. I got on the scale, got off, put on the wts, got back on and the number didn't change?!?!?:confused::confused: Stupid thing. I should get away from the silly digital and get an old-school analog scale. On the upside, I told myself I was only going to measure inches btwn mesos but I cheated. I am down 1/2 in in both thighs, 1 in in my waist. Everything else is the same. But my belly and thighs are where the butter is, so something is happening.:):):p:p Well I am off to LM and then to shampoo the couch. What an exciting life I lead!

Way to go Nan!:D You are on the right track. No WO for me today. I've got major soreness form D6. Also, I work at the animal shelter on Sundays and don't have time to exercise. Tomorrow will be D& though. I will definitely be upping my weights to challenge my chest and bis more this week.

Nan - congrats on the measurements. It is always nice to see some results from our hard work, right? I am waiting until the end of Meso 1 to check my measurements, but the number on the scale is moving downward so I'm happy.

Yesterday was the start of week 3. I did a 30 minute treadmill run, followed by STS. Disc 7 was tough (for me, at least). I was wiped out by the end. There was only one set of pushups at the beginning, but wait until later in the program --- wow! I do them on my knees, but struggled with the last set.

Today is disc 9 legs. I guess I'd better get started....

Hi everyone!!

I am taking another rest day....Friday I pulled my glute/hamstring. It feel a little better but i decided not to push it :) I think I pulled it during those blasted wall squats...I got down to get the weights and got stuck...My feet slide. But anyway my workout tomorrow is Disc 4. Can't wait to see what is in store!!

Nan!! way to go....it nice to see results. My scale has not changed much but I feel tighter :p toner....I did not take my measures in the beginning like I should have but I feel a difference.

Today was Disc 7 for me and ohhhhhhhhhh those push-ups!!!! it like they will never end.... Cathe yes I am sure your ears were burning from all the lip I was giving you ;).

Therese that is tooo funny!! Thanks for the warning about the pushups, I will forewarn my co-workers that my upper body will be screaming on Wednesday.
Today was a cardio day for me, I did KPC and it felt great. I was sore immediately after doing disc 6 legs yesterday, but a dose of ibuprofen and a recovery drink did wonders for my legs.

Has anyone done the abs with the med ball yet? Do you absolutely have to have a partner?

phyllis- there are 2 parts with the medicine ball. The first part is by yourself and the 2nd part is with a partner. Each are about 9-10 minutes. Yes you do need a partner to do the 2nd half. I used a 4lb ball and it was too light. (and I am not big on abs-definitely a weak pt) I got an 8 lbs ball much more difficult.

I did disc 8 today. Back and Tri's for week 3. It was good. My husband joined me for the 2nd half and there was a little confusion with set up and weight selection. But it was a good workout. Then we did the weight and plates abs. That was tough. The plate section was hard!!!!:( But it was very different and creative. I guess I need to practice that one.

And once again my buns are so sore again. I think this week it is more focused where the glute and thigh meet and last week it was more of the smaller glute muscles on the sides.

Nan- great job on your loss.

I lost 2.5 lbs this week but last week I was up 2!!:eek: I do feel really good though.

Hi Phyllis,

I did the abs/medicine ball today, but only the first part (solo). I used an 8 lb weight (I don't have a med ball), and I thought 10 minutes was plenty (for me).

Hi all,

I am so jealous. I have been so busy (sick baby and etc.) that I have not had a chance to work out. I got in disc 5 this morning and I feel good but in the back of my mind I should be further along. I am anxious to do disc 6, legs and more of the ab circuits. Everyone makes it sound so fun and exhausting. The baby is feeling butter, runny nose, but better so I should be back on schedule in no time.
