Stressed about Hurricane

Guys,
I am seriously stressed. I am even trembling as I write this. This hurricane Dennis is about to hit my country (Jamaica) and I am really nervous. Last year, we took a big hit with Hurricane Ivan and now history is repeating itself. I keep on praying that its path will change and not affect us. I think I have everything covered. Matches, candles, rechargeable lights, water..the works. But I am still worried. Going through this Hurricane Season is an ordeal in itself. If you live in Florida, you know what I am going through. Anyway, I am just trying to relieve myself of some tension, so don't mind my ranting. On a less serious note, I have packed away all my Cathe DVDs and Equiptment so they are safe in the event my roof blows off.

I am right here with ya! I am praying for all of us. I live in Florida, and they are predicting Dennis to hit us directly. We can't take any more of this weather. We were hit directly by Ivan. Not a fun thing to go through. We had a tropical depression today! Cindy! Some roads were washed out. What is up with this year and last!? It's so crazy! I am so sorry for you. I understand your worry. We seem to keep getting slammed. My prayers to you. Be safe!!
 
Sending thoughts and prayers your way. My sister lives in Orlando and had damage from all the hurricanes that went through there last year. She was a nervous wreck and was undergoing chemo at that time as well. She had bottled water, coolers, generators, you name it all ready for what was about to hit.

I know how you feel. I live in Puerto Rico and I know how stressed people can get when there is a hurricane warning. I hope Dennis changes its course.
 
I know it's hard but try to keep as calm as you can. I can understand your fears though. I'm sure everyone here will pray for you that your area pulls through this with flying colors!!! Glad to know you have protected your Cathe collection! VERY IMPORTANT! ;-)

I hope that you and your family stay safe. Here in south Louisiana, we are keeping a watchful eye on Dennis as well. We just suffered some damage (trees down) and power outages from Tropical storm Cindy that had winds of 70+ miles per hour. Now, we have to worry about Dennis on its heels. My sister lives in Pensacola, FL so we both have to worry.

I am supposed to be getting excited about the road trip next week (and packed ready, yikes!) but I can't seem to concentrate between being extremely busy at work and worrying about the weather.

I live in Pensacola too! It becomes a very small world here in Catheville!! My husband is from Johnson's Bay, Louisiana. All his family is there.

This season is very stressful. Especially when everyone is still recovering from last year!
