Hi,
Anyone have the stomach bug that's now plaguing the East Coast? I got hit on Saturday. It's upper GI only..not lower GI and really knocked me out and down. It comes with extreme fatigue, a bad headache and and alot of nausea and vomiting. I still have the headache and a little fatigue. What I wanted to know..is..has anyone else had this recent version and how long did it take till you completely shook it?

Yep, I got it. Although mine was more flu-like: severe chills and body aches, and mine was more lower GI. Full-fledged symptoms on Sunday, will be returning to work for the first time tomorrow. I'm feeling much better today...

EEEEEKKKK....a tummy bug on the east coast. If it is that close, my kids will for surely bring it home from school. :-( That way they can puke for a couple of days...I can clean it up...then I go down! No matter how much infection control I pratice!

I hate tummy bugs! I hope you are feeling better. It is hateful to feel all queasy and throw up!

I felt something come over me last night as my stomach was getting queasy and feeling very fatigued, but now feel absolutely fine. Maybe I got lucky and just got a touch of it.
Stay well everyone...Can't wait for Spring!!!!!

They have shut down schools in MI because of the flu bug. There were a couple in Detroit they closed for a day or two and a couple in the Lansing area. They wanted the cleaning crew in and clean really well. It is hitting here pretty hard. I have to count my blessings that it hasn't hit our household.

Oh Boy did I have it!!!! I had upper & lower GI. I got it on Friday night and Saturday I was so weak I couldn't get out of bed. I felt better by Saturday night but my stomach was queasy until just yesterday. I look at it this way......I'm looking to lose about 30lbs and now it's down to 25lbs. :)

It's going around my office pretty badly. I live in Indianapolis. We've had several people come down with it, but the symptoms vary from person to person. Many just run a high fever and have severe fatigue and aches for about 4 days. A couple had vomiting and diarrhea. I was very lucky and when I got it, I only ran a low-grade fever and didn't feel like eating for two days. That was last Friday. However, I've been plagued by bad gas and intestinal "rumbling" for several days now...must be an after-effect, although it's not very severe.

I attribute the fact that I didn't catch it full force to my getting regular chiropractic adjustments and monthly acupuncture treatments. Both really boost the immune system. Oh, and I drink lots of water, very little soda, lots of tea, and eat good food and exercise regularly.

I'm going to post a tummy soother tea recipe that really works...give me a minute.
