Stiff Neck

Sorry Anne!

I have this quite a bit. I think I have a shoulder issue which brings it on. Anyway, I have found that shoulder stretches help me and the all important time...YUCK right?

Have you tried the stretch where you bend from the hips, clasp your hands behind your legs and slightly pull out, away from your legs? You could also try the tried and true neck side to side, up and down.

Good Luck!
Melissa

I have no real suggestions for you, but I do have some sympathy. I've had a stiff neck since Thursday. Was finally able to workout Sunday (a short run and some leg work). Am hoping to do some upper body work and abs tonight, but am afraid of aggravating it.

Anyhow, I'm not sure how bad your neck is, but I had spasms and it was painful to move at all. Advil provided a little relief and my husband massaged it some which helped temporarily. If I knew of a good chiropractor I'd be there, but since moving I haven't found one yet.

Lie down and rest if you can. If possible, have somebody rub some sportcream on it to relax the muscles - that sometimes helps. Hope you're feeling better soon...

Well i just took an 800 motrin, (I want to workout).
One of my male cust. was in and gave me a good neck rub. I told him no wonder why you are happily married. It felt great.
I am biofreezing and have been stretching all day.
I lefty my daughter at the shop alone for the 1st. time, so i am home early.
I want to do legs, but don't know if i should be lifting the weight.
.
Thanks for the suggestions. Chiropractor tomorrow if it is not better.
