Spray it on foundation

Has anyone tried these? They are a little pricey, but I wonder if they deliver? The brands I saw on Sephora are: per fekt, channel, and ERA.

Just curious.

I wonder about this, too. Carmindy on WNTW appears to be a big fan of this form of makeup, but I'm wondering if it dries out and gets flaky. She applies it by spraying onto a sponge and then applying it to the face... I can just seem some poor person in front of the mirror every morning trying to spray it on evenly, lol.

Yes, Carmindy always uses this and I've been curious about it. One of the reasons I hate to wear make up is that I have trouble finding a foundation that doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing a mask.

Shelley, she is the very annoying makeup artist on What Not to Wear. I really like Nick (the hair dresser), but Carmindy annoys the crap out of me. She has that know-it-all attitude and is always hogging for camera time. However, she does do a lovely job with some of the participants....

As far as names go, though, don't you wonder if some parents are envisioning their child as an exotic dancer or something??

Funny you should say that. Sometimes I read through the baby names in the paper and when I hit one that sounds like an exotic dancer, I do my best "Gentlemen, put your hands together for...." impression:p

Oh well. At least she's not named "Apple".

I went to Sephora and sprayed some of the Chanel foundation on my hand and I have to say that the back of hand looked pretty good. When I asked the salesgirl what was so great about it that it cost $60, she sputtered, "well, it looks flawless!" Kind of like where have you been lady! I said, hmmm...foundation on a 16 year old girl flawless or foundation on a 30 something one like me? Okay, I really didn't ask that, but I was thinking it, which counts for something.

I'm chuckling over the exotic dancer name--my parents were clearly thinking about a candy bar when they named me.

Resa, LOL.

And I think it's actually spelled: Pilot Inspektor. Like it wasn't bizarre enough to begin with; the parents also wanted to demonstrate their inability to spell!

Did you guys see him (Jason Lee) on the Golden Globe Awards? Is it now cool for a man to grease the hair down and keep the side burns long? It reminds me the 70's and Smokey and the Bandit! 10-4 good buddy!

What an odd name, I suppose pilot for short? Or maybe just Pi(e)? or Spec that would be good. Now I am picturing them cheering this kid on at a sporting event. ...And it's Pilot Inspektor with the ball! As everyone in the crowd wonders...who?

Hi Resa,
I ordered Suzanne Somer's spray on foundation on HSN last night. Haven't bought anything from HSN in a long time so I thought I'd try it out. Suzanne's skin looks pretty good and she says that she uses it so we'll see. Are there any cheap drugstore versions out there yet?

Lisa

I haven't seen any cheap ones yet, but I haven't really looked either. Will you give an update when you try out your Suzanne Somers product? Hope it's better than the thigh master! ;-)
