Splenda or Sugar?

Another vote for stevia, which is a natural plant derivative. Just don't use too much or it will taste bitter. It only takes a tiny little bit. I also use agave nectar and honey on certain things.

I'd never touch artificial sweeteners. Little globs of poison, they are.

I'm not sure if that's the right question: neither are that good. It's more like 'which is less harmful'? Both are highly processed 'foods,' one more than the other.

Between the two, I'd go with sugar (preferably natural, raw sugar).
I have absolutely no trust in most man-made 'foods,' which is what sucralose/Splenda is.

But better would be any of the more natural sweeteners suggested by others. There are also sweeteners made of concentrated fruit sugars (found under different names). Fructose (NOT high-fructose corn syrup) is low glycemic and sweeter than sugar, though tastes somewhat like sugar. Honey is also an option.

Depends on the doctor...My doctor had me stay away from artificial sweeteners and highly processed food with additives.
