Spinning bikes??

Hi all,

I'm a runner - I love to run actually, but my joints and bones have
really been protesting lately, so I figure its time to mix it up a bit.
I'm looking to get into spinning (at home), to lessen some of the impact
on my body and still get an intense workout! I am looking to get a spin
bike for home use, but I can't afford to get a gym quality bike. I'm
hoping someone can point me in the direction of a bike that isn't too
expensive (under $500-600) but still of decent quality. There are 2
that I am interested in:

Fitness Master X Momentum Series
Proform 290SPX

Has anyone had any experience with either of these? Or can you
recommend a a decent bike in my price range? There's just so much out
there - I'm a little overwhelmed! TIA!

Awesome! Thanks I never ran acrossed this site in my search although the Spinning Fit was another option I had considered. Nice to hear that you guys are happy with yours. Its definitely a plus that it comes all set up! Thank you so much - I'm off to give that site a closer look!

Hi,

I just bought a bike from Jeff, too. It is scheduled to arrive this coming Thursday. Question: how difficult is it to assemble the bike? Does it come in several pieces? I'm concerned that I won't be able to figure it out.

I bought from Jeff too. There is a little bit of assembly but nothing too difficult. Just be careful. The bike parts are a bit heavy so don't let the excitement get the best of you ;)

I've got the SpinnerFit and am very happy with it. Took minutes to assemble and works great.
