i checked out the ryka website, and looked at the studio shoes, according to the recent thread on shoes, enlight II won the majority votes, but i have a question, on the ryka website, they have another category for training shoes, and they say these provide good latreal support and r good for other activities?? Do u still suggest the enlight for cathes strangth and step workouts??

No-one's answering you!

Listen, I took a look at the Ryka Enlight, and thought "OK" but then I saw the Ryka Rhythm and thought "Now we're talking". I bought the latter and use it for all Cathe cardio of all types and strength training and love it.

I expect the Enlight is just fine, but if you can aford it, why not go to the top of the range?

I chose the Enlight II's over the Rhythym II's based on price since I was new to Ryka. I absolutely love them for both cardio and weight exercise. Now I'm looking at getting a pair of the Rhythym II's so I can alternate using the two pairs and (hopefully) extend the usage life on them. Rykas are terrific shoes and well worth the expense.

Lunacat:

bear in mind that the cushioning and support in aerobics and running shoes breaks down even as they sit on the shelf. So while your shoes are "resting," they may actually be perishing slowly, so therefore it may not be an economic advantage to use 2 pairs at once. They''ll just be perishing together.

Just a suggestion.
