So, Nancy, are you are stepper yet?

Sorry I didn't see this until today guys!

I have watched the workout twice but still haven't tried it yet. I've been very stressed out at work and the time just doesn't seem right yet... I think I need to have time to learn the steps rather than being rushed like I am these days. I'm still on the treadmill because it's fast and I don't have to think.

Did you guys get the new workouts, and if so, how are you liking them?

-Nancy

Hi, Nancy! The new workouts are excellent. I think you are smart to wait until you can give them your all. I also think they WILL make a stepper of you. I don't have to tell you how beautifully Cathe cues and why would any of us be surprised she can put out a superb beginner workout? I was chuckling over your comment regarding the treadmill. That's how I feel about running. I don't need to engage my brain until I am done and that's a beautiful thing! LOL! Let us know when you know!

Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?

Not to hijack the thread, but where I go running, in a local park, there are sweetgum balls, there are roots, there are rocks poking up out of the trail. I have fallen and hurt myself a lot more than I have staying inside with my safe little Cathe tapes! I wish I could just disengage my brain while running, but instead, I have to focus very closely on the trail! }(

For turning off my brain, nothing does it for me like swimming a mile in a pool. Back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. x(

But if I had to run on a treadmill, I'd get so bored I couldn't do it. It's only the complex visual environment of the out of doors that lets me run. That's why I can't run here in the South from May until October. No treadmills for me.

Anyway, Nancy, I'm sorry you're so stressed out at work and I do hope someday soon you get to add step to your options. It is nice to have as many exercise options as possible.

Hi Nancy!

I am a major step klutz....I can do the step portion of C&W somewhat and CTX Step and Intervals somewhat. Forget RS or SB! I really like the Basic Step. About the time I was a little bored with the routine, Cathe changes it. Keeps moving nicely and I felt like I had accomplished something when I was finished. I did Body Fusion the other day; I wasn't feeling up to par so I didn't do all of the step segments. The step moves a little faster than Basic Step and Cathe adds some of her (for me) more complicated moves, of course not the real complicated moves! Through Body Fusion I finally get "over facing over". I could never get that before. Cathe breaks everything down nicely and cuing is great. Today I'm trying HS Training.

Here's hoping life settles down for you so you join in the fun! Take care! :)
