Hello,

I will be turning the big 40, in about 3 weeks! I'm looking for any recomendation for good over the counter skin care. I really don't use anything on my face except for moisturizer with spf 15. Now that I will be turning forty I like to pay a little more attention to my skin regimen. I leave in Arizona where I spend alot of time outdoors attending my childrens sports. Any recomendations would greatly be appreciated.

I turned 40 last fall and was in the same situation. I started using the Philosophy skin care products and I love them. My skin has never been so soft and smooth! I would highly recommend them. You can get them at Sephora or Macy's and they have a web sight also. I bought the Makeup Optional Kit. Good luck!

Hi Lourdes,

I really recommend Dr. Leslie Baumann's book _The Skin Care Solution_, which you can order on Amazon for about $10. Baumann has you take a quiz to determine your skin type, and then she gives wonderful recommendations for products that will work for your skin.

Since I've started following her guidelines, my skin looks so much better!
