Shonie - very nice space! You are so neat. I love your artwork! BTW I thought of you tonight when I was doing IMAX 2 interval 6 with the quick straddle toe taps, and I was EXTRA careful! :)

Shelley - Like Jes, I also LOVE my puzzle mats! For years (9 actually) I worked out on the carpet and now I would never go back. I just wish I could afford a floating wood floor or even Pinky's wood look puzzle mats. Personally I'd leave the berber carpet down, it'll give you a little extra padding. I just put my mats over the carpet. No problem.

Once you have the basement taken over you MUST show us!

Shonie - Too funny about the wallpaper in the Bathroom! I remember sitting in DH's parents wallpapered bathroom always wondering WHY they couldn't have made the flowers on the seam match up better! Damn that Always bugged me! Big sunflowers in those 70's yellow and orange colors too. EWWW!

Greatmats.com. I figured I would go really crazy with the colors. Between the mats and the hanging beads, my kids think I'm nuts! But, it is MY space, and I love it down there.

I really am enjoying seeing everyone's "space"! We are all so dedicated and resourceful with our working out. Having a special place really helps with motivation doesn't it?

Occasionally, when friends come over sometimes they'll express an interest in fitness, and I'll show them my workout room. I think they're a little surprised at my fitness equipment/video collection.

But, I know you guys would more than understand!

Fay, that's a very nice, soothing scenery you got there. Is that a curtain, or a tapestry? You just gave me an idea for whenever it is I can have a separate workout room.:)

It's a 2-piece curtain over my sliding glass window. I got it last year through the JC Penney catalog. I like how my stability fits in with the beach scene.

i just added mine to my picture trail. i got the curtains up today. i finished puzzle-matting the floor this weekend. I still have to paint thoughx( this room was added on to the house as a sunroom, but i have always used it for the dogs stuff. Then i slowly took over once i discovered Cathe. My treadmil is in the living room cause it won't fit in there. I have it crammed full as you will see!
