<--speaking of syndromes, had to LOL this last weekend because of a patient's diagnosis
<--patient is 450lbs (yikes) and is HUGE smoker, therefore COPD/emphysema.....as snarky nurses (sometimes, but only with patients who are PIA) have come up with unofficial diagnosis: TFTB (too fat to breathe) and have been "confirmed" by pulmonolgist
<--anyway, (you'll love this one, Michele) this patient actually was diagnosed with "End Stage Morbid Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome" (aka TFTB)
<--was quite impressed with the tactfullness of *that* doctor!!!
