Rykas for Canadians

Are any Canadians on this forum able to purchase Ryka studio/aerobic shoes at a retail outlet? I used to be able to get them through Sport Check, but they seem to have stopped carrying them.

Alternatively, have any Canadians ordered directly from Ryka online? If so, how did it go? Did you end up paying a gazillion extra dollars?

I really want a new pair, but don't want to pay more a ton of extra money, since I can probably find a decent pair of other-brand cross trainers (but I really like Rykas!...)

I'm from Canada too and I haven't found Ryka's anywhere here except for Sears. I see them fro time to time at Winners but no stores seem to carry them regularly.

Thanks Sherry! I just checked Sears online, and they have one Ryka Cross Trainer, but only available in size 8 1/2. I live right next door to a mall, and will have to go check out what the Sears carries in the store. If they actually carry Ryka crosstrainers (or dare I hope for the aerobic shoe?) I will be ecstatic. The Bay and The Shoe Company carry Ryka walking and running shoes, but that's about it. Frustrating.

If you live in the Toronto area, you'll find Rykas at The Adelaide Club, at the bottom level of First Canadian Place at York/Bay and King Street. Approx. $109. The last pair I bought there about 6 months ago were Rhythms.

The Adelaide Club always carries them. In case you want to give them a call, the number is 416 367 9957. I don't know if they ship.

Ooooh, thank you! I live in Edmonton, but have a brother who lives in Toronto. I'll definitely give these people a call if I can't find anything at Sears.

If there are any Ryka aerobic shoe wearers living in the Edmonton area, the Sport Chek on the South side currently has Supras and Combos in irregular sizes (5-6; 9), and on sale for $59.99 a pair! They are also having a buy one, get the second half-off shoe sale, so you could actually nab yourself two pairs of Rykas for $90.00 plus tax. You can't get a better deal than that!

And if there are any forum members who live that close to me, let me know!! I'd love to connect with you!
