Road Trippers,
Several of you have requested that we re-post the contact info for Rapid Rover, which offers a shuttle service between the Philadelphia airport and our hotels. We've done quite a bit of price scouting on airport transport options, and these folks do appear to have the best deal in town.
Here is the contact information for Rapid Rover, but please read on for more details we've found out for you.
Rapid Rover Phone: 856-428-1500
Rapid Rover Fax: 856-662-7979
Their largest vans accommodate 10 people. The cost from the Philly airport to the Ramada Plaza or to the Radisson, our sister hotel next door, is $18 per person one way (in other words, $36 for your airport-hotel weekend round trip).
The cost from Cathe's gym in Glassboro to the Philly airport is $33 for the first person and $10 for each additional person. This option will only apply to those of you who will be going straight to the airport from Cathe's gym on Sunday, instead of going back to the hotel first.
Trippers, PLEASE NOTE: You'll need to call Rapid Rover by the end of this week to make a reservation for your airport-hotel transportation needs. They have told us that due to the potentially large number of Road Trippers who may be using their shuttle service, they need 3 weeks notice.
We’d appreciate it if you’d also e-mail DebbieH and me to let us know that you've requested Rapid Rover transport, and tell us what you've asked for (e.g., Friday afternoon transport from airport to hotel, Sunday afternoon transport back.) Having that information will enable us to track how many of you are asking for Rapid Rover transport, and at what times. We will follow up with Rapid Rover to make sure everything is squared away.
Please e-mail DebbieH and me with your questions, too. The lovely and talented Lorrayne, our transportation guru, is on a well-earned vacation this week.
Thanks!
