I was just wondering if someone is wanting to shed body fat and gain lean muscle which workout is better? It seems like we're hearing so much about how heavy is the way to go (only doing 5-8 reps) vs. doing 15 reps or so and cardio between lifting so I wanted know if there is a point in doing the endurance style workouts anymore? I wanted to try bootcamp but notice how high the reps are there's no way I could lift heavy doing it.

I think the answer is different for everyone. Try a month of each, and see how your body responds.

Personally, I cannot stand endurance workouts and circuits. I like to live heavy, varying which tapes I am using every few weeks. I am seeing amazing results.

Good luck finding what works for your body and mind!

Well, favorite would have to be Gym Styles. These workouts are what made me LOVE lifting.

I also own 4DS, and the Pyramids -- did PUB for the first time this morning. It is an endurance workout, but it was different for me, it really works you hard.

Also, I have ordered Slow & Heavy which should arrive any day now.

What Cathe's do you own?

I only have pyramids and s&h. I'm a big fan of the body building websites but I always come back to this site because I workout at home and love just turning Cathe on and letting her show me what to do instead of making it all up myself! My workouts right now revolve around heavy weights with compound exercises with 2 days of HIIT. I'm REALLY looking forward to STS! What is PUB??

Hi. PUB is Pyramid Upper Body. I also love PLB which is lower body. I have found that when trying to lose weight, I see more results from circuits. I guess you will just have to try a rotation of both to see which works besyt for you! HTH
