recovering from shoulder injury - how to balance sides?

Bumping on this interesting thread hoping everyone is doing well as far as shoulder is concerned.

It has been a long time since my "frozen shoulder episode" occured. So here is the update:

  • What caused it: IMHO it has been caused by hormone decrease --- oestrogene.

  • How did I get myself up and running? First physio, about 20 an sessions. I backed off any heavy program for about a year or two. It took a long time to recover full ROM. After some time I went back to my usual routine to build strength back up. Years later, I did LMR and LMR2. This helped regaining strength back. This episode was a reality-check moment. On top of regaining strength, I had to reconsider my training regimen. Basically I had to learn from this episode.

  • What type of exercises helped: Collateral travel during the execution of coumpound coimbos, isometrics moves, unilaterals, combination moves: upper/Core, lower/core in a asymetrical fashion. Mobility helps a lot!
To wrap up my post, I would like to share some tutorial regarding shoulder lateral raise. I relate to this. This is what I literally rely on now when I lift about over 10% of my body weight for shoulders.
