Really digging this not exercising...

So I've taken this sabbatical of unspecified length from exercising and working out and I'm loving it.

I'm getting things done around the house, getting to bed earlier.

I'm riding my horse and taking the time it needs to get it right rather than just getting it done.

I actually read a book a couple days ago!

I know I have to get back to it soon, but gosh, it's nice having one less thing to do...

I can relate. I had to take a break while nursing an injury a couple of years ago, and at first I thought I'd go stir crazy. Then I kinda got used to not having to work in specific exercise time. ;) Of course, after a couple of months, my joints actually started to ache. It's as if they were saying to me, "Hey, get BACK on that treadmill!"

The breaks are wonderful both physically and emotionally though. They renew my enthusiasm for exercise. That's why I turn into a total beach bum during vacation. :+

WOW, Susan, that sounds wonderful!!!

I'm trying to figure out right now WHEN to exercise since starting a new job......3a.m. or after work.

Enjoy it while you can, it will go by fast. Hmmmmm, maybe I'll try the extended time off sometime soon;)
