Question about Lexapro?

I was taking lexapro for about 3 wks. and I had a hard time sleeping at night. I totally went off it without slowly doing it. I just abrutely went off. I wanted to know if anyone experienced the same thing or other side affects.

I had the opposite problem-- I was constantly sleeping! Considering that before starting it, I had chronic insomnia, I didn't mind too much at first. However, it got to the point that it was interfering with my daily activities and was inhibiting my ability to think-- that's when I quit.

A friend of my husband's had weird muscle problems from taking it.

I am very sensitive to meds. The first week I started taking it I slept for 24 hrs straight. It really freaked me out when I was driving to work and became dizzy w/blurred vision. I went off of it immediately.
