Pet Food Recall Expanded

Hey all! Just to let you know, we use wellness dog food (dry only) and there are no issues with it. we buy it at the local agway.

take care , Tina

I feed my dogs The Honest Kitchen, it is a organic raw dehydrated food. It is made in California and uses all human grade meat, veggies and fruits. This stuff is amazing. It also has no grain as i personaly do not think dogs should eat grains. I recomend this stuff to everyone and many have now switched from all the recalls. I do not trust products using ingredents from all over the globe. All standards are not the same in all countries. I will also once in a while mix in a bit of EVO kibble, that is a great food as well to look into. The Missing Link is a great product to add in to dog food as well.

Have a good night,

Brigitte

I read it this morning, too! It just blows my mind that now one of those high-end dog foods is affected. Can't trust anyone anymore.

I have been feeding raw food diet to my dogs exclusively for the past year now, before that I kind of rotated betweem homemade and kibble/canned.
A couple of people have called me obsessive because I am ONLY feeding homemade food because I want to know exactly what goes into my dogs' food, but now it doesn't look so obsessive anymore!

I just feel bad for those people who thought they were doing the right thing for their furry friends and it turns out there are some problems.

At least in this case they didn't delay (unlike Menufoods) and immediately recalled it, althought they don't know for sure that there are problems.

What a nightmare!!!!

Take care everyone.
