Good morning!
No plans for today except laundry, cleaning, puppy & dog stuff.
Keegan has reverted back to peeing in the house, vet gave me a script for potassium citrate, supposed to change the PH level of the urine to make it less or more acidic? not sure which. I am so confused right now with how to help him with this situation. John doesn't want to start him on something he will need to be on for life, This happened to Kelsey with thyroid meds she really didn't need when they thought it was her thyroid when it really was allergies. Once you start on thyroid meds, your thyroid no longer works, and she could not stop taking the meds. I don't this is this one of those kinds of meds, but will research.
Valerie, maybe you know a little bit about potassium citrate and what it does etc? Had Thai for lunch yesterday at a restaurant we have been wanting to try. Yumm!
Garance, vet is right, don't give too many "real" bones to Max. I had a dog one time ( back in the day when table scraps/bones were always given to dogs) that almost died when she had a steak type bone. We were very lucky. I never gave any dog a bone after that. More like they break up and can cause an obstruction. I hope this weather doesn't put a wrinkle in your family weekend plans. Golf etc.
Hi to Josie, Joan & Cathy.
Will check in later....
