Today I did JS HiiT Walk, 31 minutes, 162 calories burned, average heart rate 114, and maximum heart rate 141.

Valerie, it’s good that you finally got some rain.

Hello to Judy and Cathy.

Planned ride but it didn't dry out enough early and DH expected to go back to the dentist any moment so I did stretches and walked our yard for half an hour. it really is a hike if i focus on the up and down sections and repeat them. as it turns out, the dentist will be tomorrow morning. cant be soon enough.

carolyn the rain was good, not enough but fire danger is over for this year here but the drought drags on.

Friday, I did a 35-minute Peloton Ride and my PT work. Saturday, I did a 30-minute Peloton Scenic Ride and a 45-minute Yin Yoga class. Yesterday I did a 45 minute walk on the walking pad, 20 minutes of upper body strength and 20 minutes of core work. Today was a rest day.

Carolyn-Great job with Jane Adams Gentle Yoga and JS HiiT Walk. I’m glad you had a good visit with your brother and sister in law.

Valerie-Great job with your stretches and walking your yard. I hope your husband’s dental visit goes well tomorrow.

Hi to Cathy

I had a dental appointment this morning and another appointment after that. No workout today.

Judy, great job with the Peloton rides, PT, Yin Yoga, walking, upper body strength, and core work.

Hello to Valerie and Cathy.

i would like to say to all you cat owners.... judy and cathy.... if you are familiar with the Miracle cat pee spray you might be interested. DH swore the exercise room had the odor of cat pee. i could not smell it at all, and he only smelled it when he got close to an arwa he suspected. so I bought Miracle enzymatic spray. i sprayed the area in question and washed everything else. a few throw rugs, the weights, gloves. after spraying the corner with the miracle spray i was absolutely choking!. i could even taste it!. it was overwhelming and perfumed, enough to make me gag. DHcould not smell it or found it minimal . he has now washed down the room using not sure what. its useable again.
i would be very cautious about using the miracle spray!. its not clear if the formation changed. I do not have the most sensitive nose but OMG the solution was 100x worse than the original problem. reading reviews there were people that said buy the small bottle first to test it out just for this reason. wow. i can maybe use the room again later today. my guess is there is a lot of difference in what odors different people can smell.

judy he is off to the dentist right now. this will be a long process.

ETA mt biked the neighborhood for 40 minutes.

I got back home last night. Ended up cutting the trip short because I was going to run into rain on the days I wanted to do things outside. So, back a day early. The drive from Bismarck to Ironwood Saturday was LONG, and I've done it a couple times already, but I think I was just more tired. Then I went to Marquette Sunday and did some hiking. Planned to do more on Monday, but it was quite cool and the forecast 2 weeks prior wasn't showing that so I didn't have anything warm enough. The end of October I'm going to my sister's in NC and then nothing planned until next spring.

Today I did My Finished Step Combos workout. Tomorrow I'm going to the zoo and my parents.

Valerie I've never used that or found anything that has such a strong odor. DH and I definitely have different smell abilities. Things that bother him, don't bother me at all and vice versa.

My hip was bothering me this morning so it ended up being another rest day. I did my PT work in the morning and had a hair appointment this afternoon.

Valerie-I’ve used products from the Miracle brand, a litter box cleaner I think, but nothing that had that kind of odor. I wonder if they changed their formula. Wow, that sounds terrible.

Cathy-Great job with your finished step combos.

Hi to Carolyn

Judy my husband could barely smell it . he felt it was minimal. i would spray a small area and check before spraying a larger area. hopefully you will never need it!. i do NOT have a great sense of smell. wine fragrances are lost on me. i can smell hydrogen sulfide readily and have trouble eating eggs or mayo because of it. i cant smell if nuts are rancid. i can smell perfume- like odors easily. when we pass people outdoors i can smell a literal vapor trail from people who used scented things like detergents, deodorants, cologne, after shave. i can smell it 20 feet ahead and behind them. but rancid nuts i cant detect at all. i use DH to check nuts if there is any question. my dh did not eeact to the Miracle spray like I did. he has re mopped the area several times and we keep the window open to let it clear. i buy unscented products if i can.

Good morning, ladies. I'm wondering if I can come back? I'm sorry I left without an explanation. Life sucked for a while. In general, it's vastly improved - but I'm still ticked off about my workouts.

This morning I did KCM’s Cardio Quick Fix, workout one, 26 minutes, 165 calories burned, average heart rate 125, and maximum heart rate 152. I attended a virtual WW meeting after my workout. My birthday was a few days ago. I didn’t feel much like celebrating, but it turned out to be a good day thanks to friends and family.

Valerie, I don’t know anything about that cleaner since I don’t have pets, but I know about reacting to certain odors. I’m more sensitive to things than I used to be. Nice job with mountain biking for 40 minutes.

Cathy, it sounds like you had a good trip even though it was cut short. Good job with your Step Combos.

Judy, I’m sorry that your hip is bothering you. A rest day was a good idea.

SRP, please feel free to join in when you can.

Have a great day everyone.

Carolyn-Great job with Cardio Quick Fix. Happy belated birthday. I'm glad that you had a good day with friends and family.

Valerie-I am very sensitive to odors too. We had a new hot water installed last year and I could smell a faint gas odor in the basement the next day. My husband didn't smell anything and thought I was wrong, but we called the plumbers that did the installation and they found a leak that they had missed.

SRP- it's good to see you, join in whenever you want.

Hi to Cathy

Hip issues are so hard to deal with. cant avoid using them for almost everything. I'm very sensitive to certain odors and completely oblivious to some other obvious ones. for me, awareness drops off after i smell it for a while. I hate to buy tanks of propane because even though they dont leak, i can smell it in the car for a long time after. smelling gas is a good sensitivity to have.
we are road riding today shortly. i had a video appt this morning so we couldn't go early but its early afternoon and warmer, so should be fine. another appt tomorrow but in person.

I think i will be gone next week for several days. did the ride 1 hr 20 minutes.

SRP feel free to come and go as it works for you. Whatever works. everyone is here some days and not others.

Today I did P30 Perfect Pump Upper Body. That was 39 minutes, 161 calories burned, average heart rate 114, and maximum heart rate 139.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning. Today I did JS One Mile of Motivation for 15 minutes, 90 calories burned, average heart rate 112, and maximum heart rate 143. Then I did Step Boss Extended Stretch for 8 minutes.

Waving hello to everyone. Have a good day.

Hi, ladies. Maybe not a great day to start posting again, since I didn't do a workout last night. I had to work late on a project. Oh well. I plan to go for a power walk later today. I hope you all have a great weekend. I'm not sure if I'll be around.

Wednesday I went to the zoo and yesterday I shopped. This morning I did IMAX 4 and STS2 Upper Body 1. Somehow my brain always forgets that 2 of the blasts in IMAX 4, including the 10th have squat thrust moves. The woman is evil!

Valerie is it possible that the spray was reacting to something else that was used in the area? It’s fascinating how storm smells affect people differently. chemical smells are hard for me. I can’t stand the smell of cooked cauliflower or sauerkraut, yet others in my family love them. My sister always has to eat cooked brussel sprouts when she husband is traveling!

Judy I’m sorry your hip is bothering you. I hope it gets better soon.

Carolyn, I’m glad your birthday turned out well.

Welcome back Shannon.

I have an appointment to see a new doctor and physical therapist in a couple of weeks. I need to try something else for my hip and shoulder issues and have just been putting it off too long.

Wednesday I did a 50-minute walk on the walking pad. Yesterday I walked for 45 minutes with my husband and did my PT work. Today I did 30 minutes of strength work and 20 minutes of stretching and PT work.

Carolyn-Great job with P30 Perfect Pump Upper Body, JS One Mile of Motivation and Step Boss Extended Stretch.

Cathy-Great job with IMAX 4 and STS2 Upper Body 1.

Hi to Valerie & Shannon

Cathy we are in agreement about cooked cabbage smells. omg i cant stand cooked cabbage .i used to smell it 200 yards away from our house and knew i didn't want to go home where it would have soaked into the walls. hated it!!! made me want to vomit! my grandmother loved sauerkraut and other german food. i cant stand any of it. anything tht smells like that is nothing i will ever eat. i like cabbage raw in any kind of slaw that doesn't use mayo. its that sulfur odor. no way. i dont like cabbage cooked. our house always used to smell like cooked cabbage. ugh! I like cauliflower ,broccoli, brussels sprouts, but roasted...... not boiled. i dont know how she made things stink so bad! i like all those things roasted.

i dont know what DH used to clean the area first. possibly diluted lysol. he wont say. its ok now although we find if the windows are closed the smell intensifies, at least it did until the last go over. we will be gone a week or so. will see if it dissipates.
