Pentagenarians & Beyond: July 13, 2025

Today is my rest day. I went to the markets and came home with some of my favorite things.

Diane Sue, great job with CDorner Fast Intermediate Step, CDorner mobility, Muscle Meltdown Biceps and Triceps, and CDorner stretch.

Cathy, great job with Killer Legs Bonus Barre and Restore Yoga.

Hello to Judy and Valerie.

Good morning. We walked the local park this morning for 1 hr 10 minutes. we drove back from MT on Thursday. an ugly drive of 11 hrs 45 minutes. this is road repair season. it made a gigantic mess with large sections of lane closures on parts of the interstate this weekend. OMG awful. it turned cooler here and we have multiple things to get ready before DH's surgery so we didnt plan to come back at the last minute. we also wanted to limit exposure to other people so he doesn't pick up a virus at the last minute.

some exciting things showed up on our trail cams. the disk we brought back from montana had fantastic pics of pronghorns. the only problem was an easy to replace card reader. pronghorns must have found the clicks or flashes of the camera interesting so came right up to the camera to look at it. lots of pics from a few feet away. they are so gorgeous! two or three females four fawns and one male. they hang out near our house. they hadnt been seen locally until the last two years and we are lucky enough to have them 20 feet away. so glad we brought the disk back. then here we had two more disks to look at, and one had the fox who is still hanging nearby and a black bear. neighbors said there was a bear around and there was, he walked right thru our yard. we never would have known without the camera. we also had footage of a deer jumping off the trail when startle3d by coyotes, and a few minutes later all turned around with the deer chasing the coyotes down the trail.

carolyn that is sad about your sister. yes knowing its coming doesnt soften it very much.
judy thats great. semi retirement with the option to go back if you want.
diane sue being well hydrated helps with the hunger and fatigue from a long drive. it also is good to get up and walk several times even if its only to the restroom and back. i drink a lot while were driving. it also keeps my appetite down. easy to sit and chew down a bag of chips from boredom. if i have a water bottle i dont need to snack. especially when DH is chowing down on cookies and snacks.
cathy take a day off once in a while. one day in 2 weeks is not enough IMO.
