Pentagenarians & Beyond: December 14, 2025.

This morning I did the Killer Legs Barre and extra stretching, then this afternoon, since Nick was working, I went to the zoo again. It was 80 but breezy so it was nice. Leaving early tomorrow to head home with the Prius, and very happy I can leave Fort Worth on a Sunday. Staying at the same hotel in MO that I stayed at on the way down as it's very close to half way. It doesn't have the ability to hook up a phone, but it has a CD player so once home, I can just get out the CD's that I haven't used in years.

Diane Sue that's too bad about needing to find a new doctor.

Valerie sorry to hear about your power outage and that your sister has been contacting you so much.

Carolyn enjoy your visit with your daughter.

Hi Judy.

No workout yesterday. Today I did LMR functional pilates adjusting some things. I used a round bolster pillow for the vertical portion with the foam roller. Lying on my Cathe foam roller hurts even though I am not rolling on it. I adjusted some moves and did some of the lower body but did not like the hip bridge with my feet on a roller. This was 43 minutes, 90 calories. I am on another med. If it does not work he says we may consider biologics. I am going to look for a new doctor. My dil mentioned checking the family doctors building linked to the arthritis center. It was a shock when I got the e-mail and finally the paperwork. We have urgent care facilities all over if I get sick.

Cathy, good job on getting in Killer Legs Barre and stretching. There is so much traffic in Fort Worth.

Judy, nice work on Ramped Up Upper Body from Strong & Sweaty yesterday and today's 45-minute Peloton ride.

Valerie, that is nice that you were able to get a walk in at the park after all of that rain. I agree on the records and cds having one or two songs and then the rest not something I would want to listen to. Plus, after while the same tone over and over gets tiring and then I want silence.

Carolyn, enjoy the time with your family for Christmas. I suppose the concierge doctors can be good for someone who needs to see their doctor a lot and be able to get in right away. My daughter said her mother in law used a concierge before she passed away because she had to go in a lot. They do labs and prescriptions discounted. My daughter in law who works with insurance says any of the labs sent out, the lab deals with Medicare on. It limits messing with insurance payments for them and gives patients access to care when ever needed because they limit how many patients the take.
