not a great day. mamm went ok i think. no results yet. i woke up with a UTI for sure. i suspected maybe a problem yesterday but this morning it was clear that i had a UTI. i already have a backache but this makes that worse too. i didn't have time to go in for the UTI before the mamm so had to stop at WIC on the way back. it wasn't as busy as expected so i got seen and a rx but still had to go home to wait for it to get filled and then go back and pick it up. traffic was unpleasant to say the least. so not a smooth day .
we got a little rain but nothing up to what we need. We are getting really nervous about the expected el nino that is a very big deal here especially, since last year was already warm and dry. it affects reservoirs and snowpack and river flow makes fire danger the next year much worse.
Congrats to your son Cathy and to you for negotiating all the little twists and turns on the way.
interestingly in the last few weeks, two men who started wildfires have been caught. the first one sounds like a mentally ill guy. probably wont be held fully responsible. it sounds like he may have started more than one fire. the other one is an 18 yr old. 2 trucks with 5 friends shooting fireworks back and forth between the vehicles while driving down a highway in eastern WA. what could possibly go wrong.......?? others will be charged. a huge percentage of fires are human caused but sometimes they are accidental. this t is so incredibly careless and reckless plus they were illegal fireworks. what an idiot.
we rode the trail today. 15 miles an hr 20 minutes. but there was some kind of fun run going on. way too many people running or walking and not paying attention. we should have gone earlier but leaves are starting to call and its hard to see in the shadows.
