I am a huge fan of the Triple crown races and was wondering if anyone else is also? if so who is your favorite horse to win the first leg, the Kentucky Derby? I can't find the list of the contenders for the roses.
OT/ any horse racing fans out there?

Hi LeslieMarie! I like to follow the Triple Crown, that's about it. I will say that the Preakness here in Maryland is probably doomed to move to another state. The slots bill was turned down here and word is that without that income for the state the race will not survive.
Maryland is horse country so it's a real shame actually....

I haven't chosen a horse yet. I like to wait until the day of and see what they look like, though I'm not a big gambler and I probably won't bet. It's just really cool to watch them go! Good luck if you bet!
