Oh this is so horrible

I had to cut my vacation short & come back to work b/c a coworker's wife was killed in this terrible accident Sunday night. Apparently she was leaving her house to drive a friend home & had forgotten something, so she went to run back inside but didn't put the car in park so it ran her over, killed her instantly. I'm pretty close w/my coworker & my heart is just breaking for the poor guy--he & his wife are my age (late 30s) & they have two small children, it just has me sick to my stomach.

Makes you realize how your life can completely change in the blink of an eye. My assignment for all you ladies is to go home tonight & give everyone you care about a huge hug.
 
That IS horrible. That poor family. Sorry to hear this kind of news.

Oh, Laura, I'm so sorry. I feel just sick thinking about this. What an awful thing to have to go through.:-(

Life is soooo precious and we should cherish EVERY WAKING moment because tomorrow is never promised to us.

How sad for her husband, children & you. I pray that God will keep you all strong.

I just read that story yesterday in the Star Ledger. My next door neighbor's coworker was the pilot who's plane crashed around Sussex County (NJ) on Father's Day. How sad for these families, life is just too short.

That is truly awful and my thoughts are you with and your co-worker's family. Thank you for this post, when I read it my husband was on his way out the door and we'd be having stupid little fight and this made me run after to catch him just in time and smother him with sorry's!
I'm so glad I didn't let him go away mad!
