Hello everyone,
Haven't checked in lately due to a crazy schedule. I see so many references to the apparently much loved "tank top rotation"---what does it involve? Talk about living in a cave---not knowing about this!! I did a search, and it kept replying no matches for keyword: tank top rotation or tank top??? Would someone be so kind to post it again or refer me. Thanks so very much in advance. I just love this forum!! Cannot wait for Cathe's brand new ones---yikes, I am going through withdrawal---Help us soon, Cathe!!

Tank top rotations involve working your tri, bic, sho, 3 times a week. When I did the rotation it looked something like this...

Monday: aerobics,pure strength ba,bic,sho,che,tri
Tuesday:Cardio,leaner legs
Wednesday:Ctx sho,tri,bic
Thurday:cardio
Friday:MIS
Saturday:CArdio
Sunday:rest or light run

When I got the rotations there wasn't that much cardio in it but I was doing cardio everyday anyway.I guess we do whatever we have the time for.It is up to you if you want t o do cardio the same day that you spend 1 hour lifting weights. If you do decide to do cardio leave the leg work out for last.Your legs will be to jell-oie to go jumping around on a step after.Hope this helps...by the way you do get a great look in just a couple of weeks.I slowed down because summer is to crazy but once I got back on a schedule I will be doing some sort of rotation.

China~Lori hs given you the right info. Here is one of the ORIGINAL posts about it from one of our regular posters, Donna.

Here's is Marlene123's original "tank top arms" rotation:

Day #1: Pure Strength Chest, Back, Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps
Day #2: CTX Leaner Legs
Day #3: CTX Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps plus cardio
Day #4: Cardio
Day #5: MIS
Day #6: Cardio
Day #7: Cardio or rest

As you can see, this routine works shoulders, biceps and triceps three times per week, chest and back twice and legs twice.

NOTE: Marlene also said that she does this rotation for 10 weeks, then switches to a S&H rotation for 3 weeks.

*This rotation will bring definition to your upper body, just remember to go as heavy as you can with weight, but using proper form and able to complete each rep/set.
Marlene truly has a winning rotation here! And regardless of what rotation I do, I've found that Marlene's idea of working the shoulders/triceps/biceps 3x/week has been the key to sculpting my upper body.

Thanks so much Debbie H.!!!! I will certainly give this a try, because I've been working hard as I can, and I really haven't been seeing much true definition. However, some cleaner eating would help, but sometimes an ice cream addiction(oh, yeah...sometimes chocolate..hmm) sets in!! By the way, during the 3 week S/H rotation, is it done just doing each tape once a week, since you need a 48 hour muscle recovery period between each tape, or is a combo done? It is sometimes a time challenge to do cardio and 2 tapes in one day, don't you think? Yet, I know results can't just happen in a mere 30 mins. per day--- although it sure would be great!
Thanks again; take care. :)

Thanks, Lori for taking the time to reply! I will give this a definite try! I can really see how this would work the targeted muscles to exhaustion throughout the week!
Take care! :)

Hi, China!

I did the rotation myself and saw some very good definition in my upper body in just 3-4 weeks! My "clean eating" could be better also! My downfall is chips!!! :-rollen. That's the tough part for me! When I followed the "TTR" with the S&H Series, I did each of the 3 tapes on M, T & W and then on Saturday, I would do a total body tape such as PowerHour or MIS. I can't imagine doing 2 S&H tapes, PLUS a cardio in one day. I do think that is too much also. There are days that I do cardio & strength in the same day, but only one strength tape. Hope this helps. Keep me posted on how it works for you. I have a very stubborn body and I was very pleased with this rotation.
