Hey Trevor,
I'm glad you posted the link. It just triggered a lot of questions. Obesity is linked to higher rates of heart disease, some cancers, diabetes. So if an obese person dies from heart disease, is it bad genetics or obesity? Does anyone actually die from obesity? What about the overweight, or overfat person who isn't obese? They're at greater risk of mortal disease too.
We do have a serious national health problem. It's the overfat children, that bother me the most. So tempted to grab their chips or soda & ask their parent where their head is.
Speaking of children, is Mathew a senior or off to college? Is he still running? He looks like a natural born runner with his physique. Trevor, you don't look like you could have a college age child!
My cycling is indoors right now. Lots of excuses. I really had it good in Orange County. Great infrastructure for safe riding, clean air, cooler temps, all sorts of terrain choices. Even in the dog days of summer, I could ride in Newport Beach & escape the heat. I'm only 50 miles north, but it's a new world. I really miss riding outside so hopefully can figure a way around the obstacles this fall when it cools off.
