does anybody have any exciting leg workouts using weights in the gym that they use? mine have been boring of late and stagnated. please let me know if you have a routine that works for you. thanks!!!!!!!

Can you copy down the L&G's workout and take it to the gym with you? I saw great results from that workout when I was doing it regularly. I think it would be very doable at a gym. Good Luck!

200 walking lunges with hand weights! No kidding, doing 200 walking lunges will really wake things up and you will really notice a difference.

Kicked up walking lunges: Lateral walking lunges using Gliders or paper plates!

I have tried to do walking lunges and I dread them. Are they really that effective? Also, can I do them any day of my workout? Thanks, Melissa

This is a fantastic treadmill workout for your legs & butt.
Walk on the treadmill at a 15% incline (I know it's nutty) and do walking lunges, lunge down and when you come up kick your back leg up in the air to get your glute. Use a speed of 1.0 - 2.0 mph, depending on how good your form is at the particular speed. Just keep going for as long as you can stand it. I have done this for 45 mins and let me tell you, you won't be able to walk for days. As a beginner, you will only be able to do it for a few minutes, then just walk - then catch your breath and do it again. It makes for a fun cardiovascular workout as well as a killer leg & butt workout.

enjoy :-0

Lunges on a treadmill, that sounds needfully brutal, seems like it would spice things up a bit. I will try this. Thanks!

I guess I'm going to have to go out and buy a treadmill now. Maybe I'll be able to find one for $10 at a tag sale this weekend like I did for my elliptical last weekend! Well maybe I'll splurge and allot $20 for this purchase. }(
