Need a new rotation, please!

Hi everyone!

I have all of Cathe's DVDs but haven't done any for a few weeks due to illness (virus, overtraining.) I feel fine now but I need a rotation that won't lead to me over-training again. x(

My goals are weight loss (5-10 lbs) and I really need to avoid bulk. I know this is a controversial topic but I do bulk and I am getting larger in the arms and legs. I did a 'Look Great in 8' rotation and I looked bigger at the end.

Any advice is welcome. I considered myself Advanced before my recent illness. I can work out 1 hr a day approx. :D A 'generic' type rotation would be helpful i.e. step cardio 2 x week, total body weights 2 x etc. etc.

Thanks! :)

^ is the listing of all Cathe rotations (minus this month) just scroll down to last post

As far as bulking... I would try using less poundage. Your bodies ability to gain mass easily would THRILL many of us but we dont all have those genes! You can just cut down on what weights you use and still see definition without the mass.
If your legs also build too much mass try using only 1 riser (or no riser) for your step w/o's. You can still get AWESOME results by doing this. :7

Thanks, Traci- I'll have another look at Cathe's rotations. They look so hard! :)

Tanks for the advice about poudage. I try hard to get the balance between a challenge and goingt oo far and building too much.

Thanks!

the reason you could have looked bigger after your rotation is you probley built some muscle but didnt lose any fat so you appreade larger.

Our bodies can only lose weight or gain muscle they can not do both
This is because to lose weight you need to eat below maintance calories and to gain you have to eat about maintance.

Hope this helps.
