If you like those kinds of books you need to check out some of the Nora Roberts Trilogys, starting with the seven.

Have you read any of Patricia Cornwell's Scarpetta books? They are an excellent read for the summer! They are kind of medical/forensic murder mysteries - but the "drooling" factor is in the recipes Scarpetta cooks in the books!!!! All italian!
I have read all of Anne Rice's Vampire novels, but I'm afraid none is in the same league as "Interview With A Vampire". Amazing writing!!! I don't consider myself a fanatic but Interview hardly compares to Twilight...

Really? I liked The Vampire Lestat the best. Queen of the Damned was just ok, and after that they went all kinda wonky. Still worth reading, though. I really liked her Feast of All Saints, and Cry to Heaven, too.
