My luggage is LOST!!!

Sabrina! I am so glad you got your luggage back!! Oh you are such a sweet person, I am soo glad I got to meet you! Plus, it was so much fun going shopping together. I have a feeling if we had more time we would have done A LOT more damage LOL!!!

Wow is the Philly airport that bad?

Momma D, glad you got your luggage back!! It was great meeting you finally! You are quite the inspiration looking so good!! I miss ya already;(

Debbie H--I am so glad you got your luggage too and that your Cathe mug was in one piece. Thank you for saying I look so young. For those of you that have said that this weekend you made me blush! I am so glad I got to have breakfast with you ladies, it was a great way to end the weekend. I am sorry they took your breakfast. I think they were ready for us to leave. I think I am dehydrated too. I am trying to make up for some of it today.

Sandy--I am glad I got my luggage too. You are such a sweet person too! Thank you!! I am glad I got to meet you too and that we had a little shopping time. I think we would have done A LOT more damage too if we would have had the time. Maybe next time!! I have not idea what was going on with Philly. We ran into thunderstorms near Chicago so we were delayed almost an hour and that is why I almost didn't make my connecting flight. That in turn made my luggage late. (I wish luggage could run! LOL!) I was not surprised that my luggage didn't make it to Peoria with me. I am just glad the airport delived it so I didn't have to go get it.

I miss you ladies!!!;(

It had to be weather I imagine that caused all the flight problems. I have flown Airtran for years and never a problem before. I thought my workouts for the weekend were over...NOT...you should have seen me & Kathy sprinting down the terminal! Not a pretty site. My bags and purse were flying all over the place. I was more worried about breaking my "Bus" bracelet! Ha! Sabrina, I agree, the restaurant wanted us out of there! Guess we need to get them hooked on Cathe and THEN, they'll understand! ;-) Miss you ALL!

Musings about lost luggage

Hi everyone,

Like most of you, I, too, had to make a sprint to my connecting flight in Chicago. I made it just as they were boarding the plane (thank goodness given my flight took off an hour late and I only had an 80 minute layover in Chicago).

Regarding the lost luggage. Here is my theory (it could be wrong). I believe that those who had tight connections ended up on the plane without the luggage making it from your first flight to the second flight. I believe that your plane pushed back from the gate before your luggage even made it to where your departure gate was. I'm guessing that based on this assumption your luggage ended up on the next flight to your home airport that had AVAILABLE space for your luggage. This may not necessarily be on the next flight out; but may indeed be a few flights later. The reason I'm guessing this is based on how full the flight is and how heavy the cargo on those planes are. If the plane has too much weight on it, they will not put "lost" luggage on that plane.

Just a thought.

Ugh, yes, I know I'm whining but my luggage is STILL lost. I had 4 Cathe shirts and my Organic Chemsitry textbook (that's what I get for trying to be a good student) and my Cathe autograph in it. In addition to an apple and sweaty clothes. It will be interesting to see what kind of pathogenic microbes are growing in there once it reaches me.

Waah waah, I know, it could be worse, but still frustrating!

Glad everyone else got theirs back though.

Hi Sabrina,

I am glad you got your luggage. Thanks again for giving my mom and I a ride to the airport on Monday. Our plane was late and I barely made the next flight from Chicago to Salt Lake. I had a great time and it was really nice to meet you!!

There is a picture in the Stability ball/strength link of you, Laura and I with the stability balls.
